I LOVE this tea!
The media could not be loaded. Yes, this tea is very expensive because people of the south Asian region are used to getting this tea for very cheap. However, if you do not have Indian stores close to you or stores that carry this tea the next best thing is Amazon because you can get access quickly. I absolutely love this tea, I have it every morning and I grew up with it my entire life. It is my preferred Indian chai as you can see from my video. I throw in some cardamom and some ginger and a dash of condensed milk and sweetened to my taste and sip it all morning and it is pure heaven in a cup!

Tea, the REAL tea!
So many people think the stuff sold in stores and coffee shops is tea. In truth for the most part it is not. Most of the stuff one see's passed off as a tea is actually an infusion of sticks, twigs and flowers. If the label says "tea" but TEA is not in the ingredients, it is not tea. Think of drinking a "coke" but without cola in it. These so called teas are actually infusions and quite a few smell and taste like what they are, flowers meant for the perfume industry not for drinking. Drink tea with abandonment! It actually is good for you! Oh, and in case you did not know, the caffeine in tea is not stronger then that in coffee contrary to myth's. In fact some true tea's have little to no caffeine naturally.Tea comes by many names, Ceylon, Earl Grey, Assam, Orange Pekoe, Black, green no matter the name these are tea. No flowers, no strange additives, no flavors other then the name. The names of all tea's refer to where is it grown in the world when it is harvested, and how it is cured. The differences are sometimes subtle, sometimes strong but all are tea.Taj Mahal by Brooke Bond is a full flavored black tea. Best suited for oh, tea. A cup, a pot, a pitcher. This is a really good, black tea worthy of the name Tea! If you are or have ever been in the South, sweet iced tea is a favorite drink of choice here. This Taj Mahal makes a tremendous iced tea!

Small piecs
This review is for "Taj Mahal" Orange Pekoe tea.The flavor is very nice, the bits are very small - it seems to be a "CTC" tea, i.e.CRUSH (or CUT), TEAR, AND CURLThis makes it a little more expensive, but "efficient" in thatyou use less to make a full-flavored cupa.

Amazing for masala chai
I am so excited about this tea! It has excellent flavor and makes a perfect masala chai. Even better, now I don't have to rip open individual tea bags to make chai. I can scoop out what I need and come back for more later. It has a delicious aroma and is strong enough to cut through my array of seasonings. There is so much in the box, I don't expect to run out soon. When I do, I will be ordering more Taj Mahal.

News Flash: Unremarkable fellow likes smooth, workhorse tea!
A wonderfully smooth black CTC. I drink 27 oz with a dash of milk every morning, no sugar (not that I'm completely adverse to it; I just don't want it around my tea).I drink tea, both green and black, all day, every day. It affords me some comfort as I writhe in the throes of my miserable human struggles. I have imbibed a sufficient amount of this substance to know good (this) from bad (Pampa bag tea), oolong from green, raw pu-erh from gunpowder, etc., but I do not have a particularly sensitive or demanding palate; thus I am unqualified to say whether Brooke Bond will suit the exacting tastes of a true gourmand.

Great for chai!
This is FANTASTIC tea for making chai! It's strong and has a good flavor even if you boil it a little with your spices. Your average black tea won't be strong enough or will end up bitter if you do this. One box lasts me for about 6 months and I drink chai every morning (about 1 tablespoon per cup). Keep in mind this doesn't look like regular tea leaves. It is more like small tea granules, so you'll need a fine strainer.
