Can it be applied to clothing or blankets?

It can be applied to most things. It shouldn’t leave a stain, but we recommend testing an inconspicuous area first. With clothing or blankets, applying to a small area is pretty easy. However, it would be difficult to apply to a large area of fabric.

How do you wash this off?

The bitter agent will dissipate within a few days of the last application. If you would like to wash it off sooner, use warm soapy water and scrub lightly. If the bitter agent still remains, then a soapy and damp paper towel can be used to scrub the coated area. Avoid using the same portion of paper towel twice. Repeat if necessary.

Can I use it on “claw caps” on a kitten? He tolerates the caps but bit the tips off. (I have to have the kitten who bites his nails!)

I would certainly try. I used it on charger cords to keep a kitten from chewing.

If I put this on my daughter's nails is it going to rub off on the food that she eats with her hands?

Yes! It's a very runny liquid that will likely cover her entire fingertip. It will get on clothes, food, everything. And it does not come off easily at all.
