I work with two kids, aged 3 and 4, and their parents were struggling to get them to stop thumb sucking, it was affecting their teeth and just gross in general. Applied this stuff one time and I haven’t seen them suck their thumbs since! The younger kid likes having her nails done and happily lets me apply it, the older one complains because she knows it tastes bad but I get it done anyway and then she doesn’t suck her thumbs anymore. It’s been a couple weeks and I have reapplied the polish every few days to help make sure the habit is broken, but even after the first application I noticed them go to suck their thumbs, make a gross face, then stop and redirect behaviour. Accidentally got some on myself and tasted it and it tastes HORRID, a weird chemical taste like you just licked bug spray or something, and it lingers a bit. I don’t feel cruel for using it, the kids get over it quick enough and it’s a better behaviour enforcement than watching them like hawks and telling them to stop every 10 minutes.

Honestly I didn’t think much about it until trying. I have been biting my nails since I can think. Hated the look of it and was disgusted by myself. Now I have nice looking, clean and healthy nails. Small bottle is enough!

This stuff worked excellent with our daughter. Literally went from reminding her all day long to get her full freaking hand out of her mouth to not once instance of it. Highly recommend if your child will not keep their hands or fingers out of their mouth 👍🏼

We have to apply this daily for the effects to last more than one evening/day, but it does work well when applied again each day. My daughter has struggled with quitting thumb sucking, but this had been a tremendous help.

Muy efectivo. En mi hija de 4 años ha funcionado muy bien. El inicio es el que más cuesta porque ellos siempre tienen la costumbre de llevarse el dedo a la boca. Y ahí sienten lo amargo, pero conforme pasan los días con el esmalte se van acostumbrando a ya no meterse el dedo a la boca. A mí en lo particular me funciona aplicándolo cada dos días, por dos semanas. Ahorita tengo 4 días sin aplicarlo. Es un buen producto de mi parte recomendado.

As an adult using this product to stop nail biting, it does help to stop putting fingers in mouth however if you accidentally very slightly touch mouth on accident, you’re done. You can’t use this product if you are preparing food or serving food or anything like that. Where gloves if you have to.

My three-year-old daughter kept sucking her fingers, but I put this on her while she was sleeping and more has never put her finger in her mouth and I help her with speech I recommend it 100%

Nice little helper to have on hand! *pun fully intended* with this bottle design you can just act like your polishing their nails with shiny topcoat after a color or even without and then they'll never know what hit them but it will stop the biting or eating with fingers and playing with food even! Great stuff! But you so have reapply pretty often.
