this product is fake and should be investigated. There’s no way this will produce power. There’s no way this is a Vertical wind, turbine, fraudulent, and false advertising is definitely a crime

Have not gotten it to work yet.First it , had no directions, then came with no mount, so needed to make one. I have a constant 1-3 mph breeze being on water but no turning of the turbineRating it 3 is being generous! Hopefully it is not a bust

I have not put this to work yet, but there is no manual. It is very simple as far as the wind generator goes, but it would be helpful have suggested mounting etc info.Contacted mfg with no results.

The seller hopes no one understands wind power generation. The power generated by a wind turbine is 0.5 Cp rho A v^3. Cp is less than 0.4 for this type of turbine, rho is air density of 1.2 kg/m^3, A they specify as 0.4 m^3, and rated v is 10 m/s. Multiply all of those and you get 96 watts.

I bought this to see how it generates in my area.We have wind most of the day, thing is "12000 watts" over what amount of time. My generates 1 kw per day on the average. Wind almost all day, so this probably generates 12000 watts each 2 weeks, not a big deal.It was fun to put together but not a savior for you electric bill.My solar panels give me more energy / $
