EXCELLENT Versatile 1.5" PVC 3-Way Diversion Valve...
We have a tankless water heater with a condensate drain line vented to the outside of our house (required by local building code) through our garage wall. When it remains below freezing outside for more than a day the condensate drain line would freeze solid, blocking the drain line which then automatically shuts-off the tankless water heater when the condensate backs-up inside the unit.I had two choices to remedy this problem: 1.) Go outside in the sub-freezing weather on a twice daily basis and chip the ice out of the frozen drain line to allow it to drain, OR 2.) Install this 3-way diversion valve in-line in the condensate drain line inside our garage and simply drain the condensate in to a bucket in our always-above-freezing garage for the few very cold days every year when this is an issue. I chose option 2.) above and it works beautifully!!This is a true-to-size 1.5" PVC slip fitting valve. A 1.5" PVC pipe will fit perfectly inside the valve slip fittings. The valve is very high quality. Push the black handle to "unlock" and change the valve position, as it locks into place in each position.

Much better than the valves that come with the pool
This is the second pool I’ve used these valves on and I love them. In both cases I’ve used them as diverter valves for solar panels and they are awesome - much, much better than the typical big box store valves. The standard valves can be difficult to turn, so much so that at times you are concerned the handles may snap off. Not so with these diverter valves. They turn easily and lock positively in place, and even though they are probably not designed to do so, they can act as throttling valves e.g. in my case I don’t want full pump pressure going through my solar panels and I have had no problem controlling flow rates with these valves.

Works for me
I bought these for an off label use. Made a manifold to facilitate siphoning out carbon and softener resin out of tanks. I up sized the valve *knowing* any valve will NOT be full bore. (unlike everyone here who complained that it narrows down. Well Duh! First day doing plumbing?)If it leaks (but it doesn't/hasn't), not a big deal for me, its only in use for an hour or so.I'm happy, might be buying more to make for the other techs.

Is poor flow
Inside hole of the valve very small.About one inch a real restriction in flow

The inner valve diameter is smaller than ideal
Purchased this diverter valve to add a secondary inlet pipe for my new pool pump. The idea was to attach it before the pump on the suction side of the pool and reduce it down to an inch and a quarter so I could directly connect a suction hose for the pool vacuum. Unfortunately the inner diameter of the Valve seems to be closer to 1 1/8th instead of in a 1 1/2 inches.I will be returning this product and simply going with 2 and a 11/2 inch ball valves attached to a high flow T

Avoid and DO NOT BUY
Do not buy. Does not work with sched 40! Pieces will not bond to pipe! Be careful if you already have this valve and have it installed. It will not stay connected. The joint will eventually fail.

Work well
At first, I was concerned. The valves seemed stuck. Then I realized that you push down the handle to turn. That’s a nice feature. It felt a bit stiff at first, but was fine once I got the hang of it. It allows all 4 flow possibility (all directions, either flow option (left or right), or closed in all directions.
