Enjoy the Music!
I bought these as I was conscious that loud music at concerts I attended was risking my hearing. I spent a lot of time researching suitable solutions and found that these were recommended widely. Having tried them out at multiple music events, I have to say that I am very happy with them. They don't muffle the sound in the way that foam ones do; rather, they reduce the overall volume, meaning that instruments and voices still shine through, allowing you to hear the words. There are two sets of earplugs come, with a total three different options for noise reduction (low/medium/high) which you can use interchangeably in the earplugs. My wife and I use the medium and high noise-reduction filters so I can't comment on the low reduction ones. One point to note: the method of inserting them is somewhat unusual... You hold the tab at the end of the earplug and put your hand over your head to insert into the opposite ear. The instructions explain the method clearly. You might feel a bit self-conscious inserting them, but don't be - your hearing is much too important to worry about that! And Don't just grab a plug and stuff it in your ear: if you do, the tab isn't always easily accessible after use and you will struggle to pull them out - I know, it happened to me - lesson learned! The plugs are complemented with a durable aluminium container for storage, as well as a smaller plastic storage box - we use one each. There is also a thin, attachable plastic lanyard in case you wish to take them out and let them dangle round your neck rather than faffing around putting them into the above storage containers. I used this option at a music festival, and although the lanyard feels quite flimsy, it did the job with no issues. So, in summary, strongly recommended. Reassonably priced, and your hearing is worth it!IMPORTANT NOTE: My review is for the Sky Blue set of earplugs. Many different colours are offered, but please check the product description for the colour you would like to buy carefully, as some of the different colours offer only one pair of earplugs rather than two, and some of only offer TWO different options for noise reduction (low/standard)

Great if youre on a budget
The sound reduction and quality on these earplugs is great, but I find them less comfortable than the Studiospares and Alpine plugs when used for a long time. They do fit better than the Studiospares, so are better for singers and performers than those, but for concerts I would consider the studiospares.Alpine performer ear plugs are better overall, but do suffer from the filter inserts becoming loose, something that cant happen with these hearprotek plugs.

Superb for Slipknot
Son and I went to the Slipknot concert at the O2 recently ...bought these a couple of days before Son didn't wear them but I did ...no distraction from the high volumes of intense Slipknot music these don't muffle the sound just work as they should fit nice and snug in the ears a good soft plastic shape and come with a large and small pair and a carry case for the belt ..my ears didn't ring after either or next day as normally do .

really pleased !
i used these for the first time at an olivia rodrigo concert and i found they were really comfy, stayed in my ear, and everything was still so loud ! i was going to buy the loop experience ones everyone recommends for gigs but was reluctant as i’ve heard you can hear yourself singing, but i didn’t have that problem with these. maybe it was because it was so loud but i couldn’t really hear myself, only when it was quiet. i could still hear other people, the singing didn’t sound muffled and they are sooo much cheaper than the loop ones for what i think are really good quality earplugs.

Good but not for me
Went for these after reading numerous reviews and deciding that at my age I needed to try and protect my hearing. They come with plenty of bits and bobs, 3 cases, 2 different size earplugs, 3 filters and a neck chord. I found them comfortable but an used to using In Ear Monitors that fit deep in the ear canal. The neck cord is a nice touch but I found the fit wasn’t as good with it on others may notice no difference. The tubular metal case will only store the earplugs without the cord so a bit useless unless you don’t use the cord. The full case all of the items came in is compact but I like to travel light to gigs so it is a bit big for me.The earplugs worked well at a recent Slash gig with no ringing afterwards but you lose a lot of tonality. I also felt that I wasn’t really at the gig if that makes sense, more like hearing it from outside the venue? For people that have severe hearing issues or younger people trying to stop hearing decline they would be ideal, for me unless the gig is monstrously loud I will take my chances, the reason for going to live gigs for me is to hear music as it should heard, the way recorded music doesn’t sound. There should be more depth, attack, bass and top end all round and these obviously change that. I also couldn’t differentiate between the filters but that may just be me.

Seem to be quite good I like the fact you can change the filters.

Work fairly well
Are usually a number of concerts and they definitely cut down on the hearing damage, they don’t cut too much of sound from the bands but it can muffle some slightly. I would recommend these.

Great Budget Ear Plugs
I have been to around 50 concerts now without ever thinking about protecting my ear drums. I have gotten to the point where I’ve realised how important it is. I bought these mainly for the price compared to competitors and all I can say is how good they are. Two pairs and a carry case you can fit onto your keys or the carabiner that comes with it. Being ear plugs I thought they would cut off a lot of the clarity but I was quite surprised. They roll off a bit of the low end and high end but they sure can reduce sound significantly. I was stood by the speakers at show that was very bass heavy and even that I could really clearly hear the music still. It’s the first time I’ve come home without ringing in my ears. Well worth the purchase!
