This Nvme SSD is perfect for my PS5 it was super easy to install less than 10 minutes. And it is actually what it is titled I bought a 500gb and it was 500gb I was thinking it be like 465gb. Super fast speed transfers 160gb in around 2 minutes for the PS5 games. It also came with a free Mini-Screwdriver to install the drive to the PS5. Which honestly blew my mind away haha. Every freaking SSD vendor never include a Mini-Screw driver expecting you to have one already which I did but man for the price the speed and the FREE Mini-ScrewDriver included and with Prime One-day shipping. This SSD is easily the best I have ever bought I own a gaming PC and I highly recommend anyone buying this NVME SSD for more PS5 storage I now have more than double the storage. Here is hoping this SSD last for many more years to come.

This SSD was an extremely affordable option for me to expand my PS5’s storage capacity. I was able to get 1TB for about $70 on sale and after tax. The SSD came with the heat sink already installed, so those pictures that say it comes with instructions aren’t accurate. I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing though, because it’s less work for me if the heatsink is already installed. The drive installed seamlessly in my PS5, and the console read it immediately and formatted it. The read speed came out to be 5552 MB/s, so that is perfect as well for the PS5. I’m happy with my purchase so far. Hopefully it lasts me the rest of my console’s life or until I have to possibly upgrade again. I will try to remember to update my review in about 6 months to post how the drive holds up over time.

DISCLAIMER ABOUT NEGATIVE REVIEWS saying these drives aren't as fast as fanxiang claims: These drives ARE FAST and in most cases, they are probably faster than the customer's systems are capable of achieving.I've been upgrading several of my computers over the past 6 months and happened upon fanxiang branded 2.5" SSDs and decided to try a few mainly because they were less expensive than most other brands with similar specs. Sure enough, the data speeds were as promised (using CrystalDiskMark) and then I tried one of their smaller (1TB) m.2 drives and was also pleased with not only the performance but also again, their lower price compared to similar brands. So... I decided to 'go big' and got the 4 TB m.2 but decided to go for the 5000 MB/s instead of the faster one (7300 MB/s) simply because my system couldn't even make full use of the 5000 MB/s speed.This drive replaced a smaller 1 TB Sabrent Rocket (gen 4) and actually beat the read speed by 1000 MB/s while the write speeds were almost identical.I am thrilled with the performance, formatting was simple, and I quickly transferred around 350 GB from my smaller m.2 SSD to this one in a matter of minutes. While I have only been using fanxiang hard drives for about 6 months, I have not had any issues, but don't have a long enough history using them to comment on how well these last over a period of years. What I can say, is that they are less expensive than other brands of similar specs. Again, I just want to stress what I mentioned at the start of my review. These ARE fast drives, in many cases, the limitations are going to be from the motherboard itself, and also, transfer speeds (in actual use) will also vary based on the size of the files being transferred (transferring small files is much slower than transferring larger files).
