101 Easy Melodica Songs: Melodica sheet music for beginners

I bought this book for my musical 4 year old grandson. I showed him how the book was laid out. Within two days he was playing songs on his melodica. Easy to use and great fun for those young musicians. Or anyone.

I'm new to the world of melodica playing and it was hard finding a book that had:1) songs I actually had heard of before2) was written for someone who is actually a real beginner and not the type of beginner who has a strong foundation in music theory3) explanations for where notes are and which fingers are used when playing themThis book had all that, and out of the 101 songs, I definitely already knew at least a third of them beforehand, which for me helps with motivation to keep going. I've been very happy with this book!

No dislikes that the grandson has told me about.

The songs come with lyrics, and pictures of the keys involved. The book even comes with help on how to read music and other details.

I got this for a beginner. For someone playing a melodica this is nice and easy. You get it for easy read and play.

Easy to understand instructions

Very easy to follow

I bought this for my wife for her birthday on 6/13. She wanted an instrument to practice on and have fun with. I ordered the book for her since she wanted to start playing right away. We found the book strudy, well written and allows someone to start playing right out of the box!

Love this book - easy and fun to read and play

I bought two copies. My grandson loved it so much that I gave my copy to him and ordered another for myself. Great for ukulele melody and melodica and a small piano.

I've been teaching myself how to play the melodica and wanted a collection of songs to work through, to add to my repertoire. There's a range of styles, most of them very well known, a few which are new to me. The songs start very easy, and gradually get a bit harder as the book goes on, which is just what I need.There's so many songs, it's going to take a long time to get through all! A great compliment to the tutorial book (by the same author), which I'm currently following.

Das Buch ist eine gute Ergänzung zum Lehrbuch von Daren Banarsë. Es ist, wie der Titel schon hergibt, eine Liedersammlung. Die Songs sind im Schwierigkeitsgrad aufsteigend. Das Buch ist für Anfänger gut aufbereitet und die Songauswahl ist meiner Meinung nach gelungen. Der Preis ist sehr fair.

I bought the hard copy version of this book and it is fantastic. The book quality is excellent. This is a great resource for absolute beginners and there is also plenty of material for intermediate players. The inclusion of a diagram with each tune showing the range of notes being used is very helpful. Not only is this book of use to melodica players but the inclusion of chords and words also makes this an excellent book for guitarist, ukulele players and other keyboard players.
