I bought these for a party. These products cost more, but I'm happy that they aren't plastic! Right out of the box I was impressed with how thick, strong, and durable these plates and utensils are. Our guests were impressed as well. These performed better than the average disposable plastic items. I like them so much that I purchased some small matching bowls for the party as well.

Less garbage, more compost!
I look for ways to eliminate trash, and I needed more plates than I have. These compostable plates are extremely durable. I made a very saucy baked ziti with salad and garlic bread. The 9 inch plates held the whole meal, and no mess. The utensils are durable and we have kept them to reuse. I am very satisfied with this product and will definitely purchase them again.
