Q: I don't see a picture of the coffee filter for this coffee maker. What does it look like, and what is it made from?

Hello! The filter is mesh at the bottom of the siphon. You'll see how it locks into place in the attached video.

Q: After double boiling several times there's a coffee residue stain on the metal bottom. Never left plugged in when not brewing. How to clean this pls?

It’s normal water scaling. It doesn’t go away, you can’t scrub it out. It has no effect on the brewing or taste of the coffee.

Q: How do you pour a cup without it spilling all over the place? I am doing something wrong.

Hi, Waterlily! The reason you're probably having a problem pouring without spilling is because the manufacturer buries some of this useful "decanting" information in the section under double brewing. Here's what to do: 1) Twist and remove the top half of the Solac after the coffee has been vacuum syphoned down into the bottom half. 2) Then take the bottom half's cap -- not the thin "hat" that sits on the top half when you're brewing but the thicker one you set aside during the brewing process -- and use it to help remove the syphon tube from the bottom half. Line up the cap with the slots on the tube, push the cap down, twist the cap and tube counter-clockwise until the tube can be removed from the bottom half. (You can also cool down the tube with cold water, to make it safe to the touch.) 3) Then -- take the cap and attach it to the top of the bottom half (where your brewed coffee now resides) by inserting it into the slots on the jug and twisting clockwise until it stops. At that point, the pour spout is open and ready to pour without a mess. After pouring you can also twist the cap counter-clockwise a little to close the spout and help the coffee in the bottom half stay warm longer. I'm sorry if this is somewhat confusing; again, you can check the details in the "double brewing" section of the instructions (though you need to do this routine when you're "single brewing" too.)
