Good quality, built a base out of wood and works great. I use as storage for pressure hose. I don’t run the water through the whip line.

I pressure wash for a living and purchased this reel to replace an old one that finally gave out. I don't normally run my pressure washer hose through the reel as this can damage the reel and the hose because when more than two rows of hose are wrapped around the reel and the pressure washer is being run, the pressure can cause the hose to swell and can crush the reel like a boa constrictor which also damages the hose as well. I just strip off what I need and connect it to the machine. My machine is trailer mounted and is parked on the street when I do residentials. 99% of the time, I use 200 feet of hose. I only use single wire hose because it is more flexible when I'm working around furniture on decks and cheaper than double wire and this allows me to fit 200 feet of hose on this reel since single wire hose is a little thinner than double wire hose. Another reason I don't run the hose through the reel, is because the hose they supplied the reel was mounted to a 90 degree (right angle) fitting and a right angle fitting can reduce flow by up to 25% and this is significant when you use long hoses. Water flow is just as important as water pressure, so I don't have any bends in my hoses. As a bonus, I saved the hose they sent with the reel for my surface cleaner because it won't be long before I'll need to replace that hose too, which if purchased separately would be about $30 - $40. So, to me, the extra hose reduced my reel cost to $95.I will be purchasing another one of these reels for another machine and I'd recommend this product to anyone needing a high pressure hose reel. Only took about 15 minutes to assemble without the "thru hose" and about 15 minutes to drill the holes to mount it on my trailer.

Perfect for 50' hose, but it didn't come with a necessary male coupler to connect it to pressure washer hose's end, I had to buy one for myself separately, and after connecting it there was leak from the connection point that needs to be addressed. The reel itself is well made and I'm keeping it for that.I had to purchase one on my own, and connected male coupler to hose reel connection point

The user experience is very poor. First of all, the hose reel is not designed properly. The hose is always tangled together and difficult to retract smoothly. It has to be manually sorted after each use. Secondly, the hose material is very thin and cracks begin to appear after only a few uses. It cannot withstand the impact of high-pressure water flow at all, affecting the cleaning effect. In general, the quality and durability of this reel are disappointing. It is strongly not recommended!

Purchased for my at-home-car-wash station. Easy to mount and set up. Like the locking feature so the hose doesn't unwind by itself.

Quality is good showed up banged up though def wasn’t the shipping the item was damaged …. It said new def didn’t look new…..

This high pressure hose reel is well designed. Easy to assemble it even included a 3pc set of wrenches which I did not need, but maybe some do. It is sturdy and can be mounted to a wall if you have lag bolts. I have 150 feet of hose but it could easily hold more. The lock-stop spin is easy to use. Generous length of whip-hookup hose with some fittings preassembled. No sharp edges. I had a small issue with mine but the seller was PROMPT and helped resolved it very quickly. VERY good about communication with me. You should be able to get this assembled and working for you in about 20 minutes.
