I didn’t get the warranty. I guess it depends on what kind of action it’s going to be getting.

On a coin size target 6 to 8 inches and a soda can size target 10 to 12 inches.

Q: Can this be used on the beach in wet sand / shallow water?

Yes this coil is waterproof. However most detectors will not perform 100% in sand. I have not tested this but the general consensus is if you plan to beach comb only I would look into more expensive options as the ground discrimination is far better. But this will do fine.
