Big, neat & does the job
UPDATE: 13 months on - never had an issue, still working perfectly.I bought this transformer to be able to use a US robot vacuum and self empty base in Ireland (saving about €400).It has happily powered my robot vacuum self empty base for 2 weeks (continuously on). The base has a 1400W vacuum motor so I selected the 3kVA transformer to make sure I was comfortably under the rating. I monitor the power used by the vacuum/base and it seems to be pretty much as efficient as it’s rating so no significant losses in the conversion (costs about €0.60 per week running it nearly every day).It is very quiet, only ever a very faint buzz from it and never feels warmer than room temperature. The 3kVA transformer is very big and heavy. The plastic shell has an ok finish, some sink marks from the moulding process make it look a little cheap up close. At the two week mark all seems good, hoping it lasts at least as long as the vacuum!

US TO UK
I imported a heat press from the USA to the UK, but since it runs on 120V while the UK operates on 240/220V, I needed a reliable voltage reducer. This one worked perfectly, and my heat press is running great!

Not 100V step down as advertised
The product is in fact 110V and not 100V. It overheated my 100V rice cooker when plugged in, almost causing it to burn out.

Works perfectly powering a kitchen appliance from Japan
I bought this to run an imported mochi maker machine from Japan (110v) to work in the UK (240v). Works perfectly stepping down the outlet 240v to machine 100v. Looks modern, solidly built and as per image. Though the unit is heavy, it is expected for the power it is able to handle.

A year later and still going strong
I use this to power a US Yamaha RX A3060 audio receiver (roughly 2000W). I looked at a bunch of options before choosing this one and I am glad I did, its clean looking, its mostly quiet (enough for me); it does hum but I have it behind my entertainment center and I can't hear it unless I get close to it. It is on 24/7 (the receiver is not though) and has not skipped a beat yet. I'll be purchasing another in the future to power some more US electronics I brought with me to the UK.

High wattage
Bought this to power a Panasonic cordless iron that ran on 120v, and it's brilliant. 2 outlets. It's VERY heavy so is good quality and should last. Seems to be worth the expense so far and it can be hung on a wall for easy use

Does what it needs to do
Been using this for a few months now, looks really nice and works as expected.Purchased for a rice cooker that we bought in Japan as many of the manufacturers only have 220-240v on older models so just decided to use a transformer with a newer model rice cooker.

Supports a lot of power
I use this to power an American import (Giraffe Tools) pressure washer, which draws a lot of juice (around 2300W). It works perfectly - very pleased.
