Bestop 5501401 Factory-Style Replacement Windshield Header Assembly for 1997-2006 Wrangler

Super easy to install and perfect direct replacement for my tired/cracked OEM header on my 98 Wrangler. When arrived was surprised to see windshield latches already installed, so this was ready for install onto my existing soft top bows right out of the box. Nice product and good price through Amazon, saved me over $250 and having to buy an all new soft top frame.

If you need a new soft top on your jeep, go ahead and do it right and replace the worn out header.Bought a 99 TJ Wrangler about 2 weeks before I ordered this. Knew it needed a new top and when I went to remove the top realized that the Header was cracked and rusted. Found this for replacement and I can tell you it was much quicker to install than the old one was to get off (due to rusting). Once it was on I was able to install the new soft top and it is a perfect replacement for factory style equipment.Definitely recommend.

I needed a Windshield channel for my Jeep TJ to support my new Soft top.This product appears to be made from heavy, strong thermoplastic that fits nicely onto my Jeep.It fit right into place and worked with the support bars which came with my soft top.So far, so good!

This product fits perfectly and is exactly as advertised. I listed at 4 stars because when it arrived to my house a piece on the end where it curves down had broken off. I was able to super glue it back on but it still happened. If this hadn't have happened then I would have listed at 5 stars.

Needed a replacement top for our 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ. This fit that bill. Second purchase. Besttop is the way to go!

Didn’t come with screws

Bought used Jeep and it included a soft top. However, this top windshield channel had one end broken off. Ordered this, and transferred top cloth material over to it and now it works great. This is the Bestop OEM piece so it first perfectly.
