I’m 42 years old and there is a time in your life when you wake up one day, look in the mirror and realize that your skin is starting to sag, you are getting the jowls, your eyes look droopy and tired, the lines around your nose and mouth become more pronounced. So I looked into facial exercises because your facial muscles and skin needs stimulation just like your body to become tighter and plumped. As I was doing my research for facial exercises or facial yoga, I came across this cupping set. I was interested to try it but was skeptical of course. As a child my mom used the glass cupping on my back when I would get a bad cold and congestion. This is an ancient Asian method to break down and pull the toxins from your body. I always felt better after the procedure. I was intrigued how this would work for the face, so I decided to test it. Of course my husband said that I was crazy and laughed at me as I was cupping my face. The set has 2 bigger cups for larger areas of the face and 2 small ones for delecate areas (around eyes) or small areas like side of the nose (great when you have sinus issues or congested), and the silicone brush which is great for washing your face or spreading the facial oil. You definitely need to use a facial oil so the cups glide easily. Immediately my face felt relaxed after a 5 minute procedure. It felt rejuvenated and plumped. It became my evening routine before bed. My coworkers started commenting that my face looks refreshed, my husband noticed the difference. And it has only been 3 weeks! I’m officially obsessed! My eyebrows look lifted, my jaw line is becoming more defined, the lines on my forehead and the “11’s” between the eyes are diminishing and my cheeks and lips look plumped. I told my mom and she ordered the same set and absolutely loves it. This set is portable and easy to take with you anywhere and it would not break :). Like a lot of people, the pandemic has been putting a strain on my mental health, so I have been trying to focus more on self care. I saw these reviewed on a blog I follow and thought they were interesting. After researching on the internet and reading a LOT of reviews I decided to give them a try. These cups arrived the day after I ordered them! I read a lot of tutorials and watched several videos on how to get started.The cups arrive in a bag, you get two small cups and two large, plus a little nubby brush for applying the oil. It does NOT come with oil. I waited until before bed, which a lot of people had recommended. I washed my face and applied a facial oil using the brush. The instructions for what order to use each cup are printed on the back of the resealable bag that you can store them in. This was much easier than I thought it would be. Make sure you use enough oil to get the cups to glide, and don't leave them in one spot for too long.It felt like a reverse massage, like pulling instead of pushing. It was a very pleasant and relaxing feeling. I did one side of my face at a time. Maybe it was wishful thinking or something, but I felt like there was a subtle difference between the two sides. I finished up, and may have over done it while trying to get it right, because I wound up with a few pin prick sized red spots scattered over my forehead and one cheek, but they were mostly faded the next morning, and completely gone by bed the next day. I finished by washing off the excess facial oil and applying my moisturizer.I've done this 3 times now, and I do see a subtle difference. My face looks plumper (In the good way!) and my skin is glowing. This isn't going to be an overnight miracle. Each time I use it, my face looks just a little better. Just the relaxation aspect of this makes it worth the money to me. I would absolutely recommend these.

I've used these about half a dozen times and they seem to work ok. My method: I first cleanse my face and then apply (untoasted and unrefined) warm sesame oil on my face--as well as over all my body--prior to showering which might seem weird but is amazing for moisturizing. The sesame oil is slipperier than other oils (such as almond oil) and it's important to use something really slippery so that the cups don't drag against your face at all. I start with the larger cup and then use the smaller one around my mouth, nose, and eyes. I wouldn't "park" either cup on any portion of the face and I wouldn't squeeze all the way for maximum suction as these are strong enough to break capillary veins near the surface of the skin. During movement the cups lose suction anyway so I sort of pump the cups gently with my fingers as I move them around. After using, I get in the shower and allow the hot water to "melt" the oil further into my face and body. After showering I use a rich moisturizer as I have pretty dry skin.I think my skin texture has gotten nicer and softer doing it this way. I'm 42 and I don't expect miracles with wrinkles or diminishing eye bags but the surface improvement is a nice effect--I'll be watching to see if anything else improves over time. I think this kit was once sold with more than two sizes and it's too bad they no longer have a size in between large and small. Not sure what I need with duplicates of each size unless somehow they wear out?I did not receive anything in return for writing a review; I paid the price listed.
