Thomas': Cinnamon Raisin 6 Ct English Muffins, 13 Oz Pack of 2

Out of the three types of English muffins I bought, our local bear chose these! The furry porch pirate left behind the box they were shipped in and the wrappings. Bon appetit, Yogi!

These muffins are very good, but I just wish that they were pre-sliced, to eliminate the mess of trying to slice them myself. They also need more cinnamon, as I ended up adding my own cinnamon. They taste great, but they are not any way near as crunchy as the original muffins. They are more like doughy bread. At a medium high level of 170mg of Sodium (salt), they might not be for anyone on a low salt diet for high blood pressure or water retention. I could only give these Thomas' Cinnamon Raisin English Muffins four out of five Amazon stars. UPDATE: Shipping a bread product in a bag is a dumb idea. Putting it in a bag that's too small to start with is just a crappy thing to do. The muffins arrived mashed and ugly. Also, they arrived AFTER the use-by date. I will not order again from this seller. These are the best, real English muffins and not just round bread like some other brands. They've become impossible to find anywhere near me, so I'm glad to find them on Amazon, although the price is high. My real problem is that it takes them a week to arrive, and that's a long time in the life of bread, especially when it's a 2-pack, so the 2nd package waits that much longer while the first is consumed. On occasion, I've noticed a slightly fermented scent before we get through the 2nd package. I keep ordering them because they are an essential part of my daily breakfast, but I really wish there was a way to get them quicker.

What more can I say ? They have a Very Generous amount of raisins. Delicious.
