It's a very extensive health tracking system...
Fairly easy to set up via Bluetooth, but unpairs as soon. As I leave my bathroom!!!!! The app is extensive. This scale tracks, weight, bone mass, water weight, the list is long. You have to have the app open to log each time. Which I keep forgetting to do. It's also unpaired many times and it's a struggle to get it to start tracking again., reset, step on it wake it up, blah blah... It has lights that go green the closer you get to your target... If you lose or gain these lights all mean something... Etcetcetcetc... Yes, it does so much, but it really is boring... The app is too extensive. It'll track every aspect of your health if you log it manually or add other Beurer devices. Like blood pressure, glucose machines, on and on.. I bought it just to track my weight daily as I'm on the liver transplant list. You can send over a report that shows your weight and muscle mass etc, over the course of a month and send it to whoever you want via email.... For instance your dietician... It's a little too complicated for my liking. The scale is very stylish, glass, heavy and bigger than my old scale. It looks expensive. Comes with extra feet if you want it on carpet... Display is nice, blue led light. It'll show in kg, lbs or stone. You can set it for up to 8 people and have your initials on there. You can use it without the app too. There's long winded instructions for all this... The amount it tracks is unbelievable, more than my Fitbit, if you can be bothered with it all. It seems reliable. The weight is pretty much constantly the same. I got it on Prime Day for £25. I do not think its worth £80 +rrp. Because its over complicated. Especially if you just need your weight. I just can't see anybody sitting there logging in everything manually. Overall for the price I paid, it'll do. I would have sent it back if I'd of paid full price. Its just annoying. Trying too hard imo. Looks nice though. UPDATE.... Had it 3 weeks now, still unpairing daily, when I leave bathroom!! ... Urgh

You decide
I have Amazon Invoices for three Beurer scales, a BF800 - 20/01/19, a BF 850 - 01/06/20 and finally a BF 950 - 05/10/20. All have failed in one way or another for one reason for another. One user, domestic setting. Quite recently, since the BF950 failed even quicker than all the others I contacted customer services about a possible refund. Their response was that if I returned the scales at my expense then if a fault was found they would replace it. When I explained that my experiences were not good ones, forwarded screen shots of the invoices and repeated my request for a refund they declined to offer even a partial refund. They may well be within the conditions of the warranty to do so. Whether or not, under the circumstances, this is good customer service I will leave it to you to decide. I have subsequently bought a KoreHealth Digital Scale which seems superior in every respect. So far, both the scale and the associated app have performed better than any of the Beurer scales

Nice design - significant usability issues
The scales are nicely made - however, the weight for stones and pounds is a weird mix of imperial and metric units. If I select “stones” as the unit, I’d expect it to display stones and lbs, not a fraction of a stone. 12.7st should be 12st 7lbs, not 12st + 0.7st. The scales should auto detect who’s on them - this only works if your weight is not similar to the other accounts. >3kg difference. The app is terrible. It keeps forgetting about the scales - so I have to try and reconnect them all the time. At this point it says I need to select the correct account (me or my partner)...upon selecting me, it asks for a PIN number...a number it has never told me. So I can’t continue. Useless!

Broke down after 6 months 😔
I am not impressed with the quality of this scale. It stopped working after 6 months. Please do not buy any scales from this company.

Pienamente soddisfatto!

Major plus: supported by open source software, currently using openScale. Bluetooth sometimes takes a while to connect to phone. Otherwise a pretty straight forward device.
