makes a good vegetable bin liner in the fridge
I don't see the need for a drying pad - kitchen towels do a fine job for that. But I used this to line the vegetable bin in the refrigerator, and I think it's great for that. It's larger than the bin, so it kind of comes up the sides, but that's ok. It absorbs moisture nicely and keeps the vegetables fresh longer.

This works pretty well! I did find I enjoy having it take up counter space. But it's good for leaf lettuces.

Wonderful addition to our kitchen!
It is perfect for draining washed veggies - nicely padded and absorbs quite a lot. We keep it handy under our folded dishtowel that we drain washed pots and pans on too. It's become one of the handiest things in our kitchen.
