I'll just throw my money in the trash right now, thanks.
I have a 2ish year old Amcrest DVR that had suddenly started switching off and back on randomly. At first, it would restart every couple of hours, but within a day got to the point of restarting every 5-10 minutes. Taking it apart and testing revealed that the fan bearings had worn, causing resistance and eventually the fan would bind up, causing the DVR to overheat and restart. The DVR is in a covered but not enclosed area, and it's elevated an inch or so for airflow, but without a working fan it would still get hot enough to cause a shut down.I purchased this fan as a replacement on March 13, 2019 and installed it on March 15. It fit perfectly, came with the necessary fasteners, and worked as it should, solvimg the restarting problem immediately.Fast forward to the end of April. The new fan started making some noise and the DVR was getting a bit warm, so I blew it out and made sure everything was spinning. It wasn't as smooth as new, but it still spun.Today is May 25, 2019. Last night, the DVR started repeatedly restarting again. Taking it apart revealed that the fan is again barely spinning and eventually binding up.Yeah, the fan was under $20- a lot cheaper than replacing the DVR. But even for $20, it should last more than a month and a half. Of course the return window closed a two weeks before the fan started acting up.The fan itself is barely a one star, though I gave it a second since it was a perfect fit and did come with the spring loaded fasteners (one of the originals went sailing into Oblivion). I hate leaving bad reviews, and always exhaustively research products before purchasing to make sure that they're not hunks of junk, so I rarely ever need to. Maybe I was just hasty with this purchase, or maybe I got a bad unit. Whatever the reason, I'm certainly not going to risk throwing more money away on another one of these as a replacement.

Qsee DVR uses this fan
My qsee DVR was making noises. After opening it up I found this fan was the issue. This was a perfect replacement except I couldn't remove the entire heatsink from the DVR so I just unscrewed and replaced the fan only. Next time I will purchase fan alone.
