Hi Quality Fuse for Heavy DC Loads
Blue Sea Systems components have been a favorite of mine for years. They have consistent high quality, perform as expected and perform reliably. This fuse is intended to visually show it is intact or has been blown by simple observation in the window. It is also protected so that it can be used in an engine room where flammable vapors might be ignited if the flash of the broken fuse was open to the atmosphere. This sealed unit provides safety and condition by observation. Buy only the fuse that is just larger than the normal expected loads. Don't buy very large amperage values unless warranted by the application - such as electric thrusters that can draw 200+Amps at 12VDC

Seems alright
Seems if good quality - hopefully it will perform its duty if something goes south.

Expensive but worth it for the peace of mind
Blue Sea Systems make good reliable products. Yes the are pricey, however the peace of mind knowing the fuse actually are the rated capacity unlike some of the generic name ones that my not blow at a certain amps like they should and possibly creating a fire hazzard or damage to the equipment you are trying to protect

This is the one
When purchasing fuses always take a look at how they are constructed. The good ones will be made from a quality metal and be constructed in a way that provides reliability. At the same time I purchased this fuse I also bought a few no-name ANL fuses. The no-name fuses are made of plastic and thin metal and have a rivet hole right through where the fuse needs to conduct power and could be a source of failure and potential fire. The Blue Sea ANL fuse is constructed with mini rivets around the outside and the material seems to be fiberglass board that would be less susceptible to an overheating related fire. I'll keep the Blue Sea fuse and send back the no-name brands. Safety FIRST. Don't try to save a buck when working with high amperage DC devices. It's just not worth it.

Perfect to replace a Bussman, As its the same but cheaper
GREAT fuse and its made by BUSSMAN.... These will actually blow or pop like a fuse suppose to. All those cheap China made fuses will overload a wire and the fuse wont pop and the fuse will melt instead ,,which can lead to a fire.

Right thing right time
It came early, packaged properly, and it is the correct amperage for my project. Just what I ordered, Thanks.

Exactly what was needed
I had a problem with my RV AC to DC conversion. Solenoids are unreliable. I run a rental business and have had dozens of solenoids go bad leaving the customer stranded without boondocking power. This ANL fuse solves the issue. It's way easier to replace and more reliable. Great product.

Good quality and should last in the marine environment well. What else would you expect from a reputable company like Blue Sea?

It's Blue Sea...so it works! I bought this for my RV solar install as a fuse between the battery and main switch, but it was the wrong fuse. I kept it anyway for another project.

So Far I’ve run up to 220A (about 2.6 kW) with no heat or drama (unlike the cheap fuse it replaced)
