I bought the snow plow kit. Although it did arrive damage, (from shipping company) I decided to keep it. It came with a free hat and stickers! The damage was just chipped and a small dent in the blade itself. I don't believe this will effect any performance, although probably some rest... It's just too heavy and big to hassle with returning it. The set up was really easy. Honestly, not even 30 mins if you have sockets and a wrench. It seems well made and it was package nice, although damage. No amount of packaging is going to protect it if someone drops it off a truck... I would recommend this product, it cost $346 here but 399 on there website.. It seems very well made, now just waiting on the snow ** update did perfect in the snow ****update 12/13/19 liked the black boar product line a lot, decided to try out the front storage bin. well made product, easy to install. i would recommend if you need more space.

Moved into a new house this spring with a long driveway. Have purchased Black Boar products before (ATV implements for food plots) and have been impressed. Figured I'd give this a go. Have to say I've been really impressed. Very easy to install. Instructions were clear and be sure to check out their installation video on YouTube (they have this for all their products). The angle of the blade is very easy to adjust and the plow is very sturdy and seems well built. I've plowed my driveway about 5 times so far (thanks MN) and it's worked flawlessly. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because the blade was dented and scratched up in one spot upon arrival. Not a huge deal as it's mainly cosmetic, but hopefully the blade doesn't rust too bad as it's removed some of the power coating.

First things first: if you're wondering whether this will fit your machine or not, it will. I installed my plow on a 2004 Honda Recon, 250cc and 2WD. Written directions kinda suck but the instructional video is incredibly helpful and installation takes less than an hour if you have a socket set I installed this plow in fall 2021 to handle the inevitable nor'easter storms in Finger Lakes region, New York. I ended up using it a few times before snow even fell and it worked surprisingly well for clearing leaves. I have now used the plow for snow removal several times and it is surpassing my expectations. The only real hassle is adjusting the angle of the plow but only because you have to dismount the quad but that's not too bad. Dropping the plow takes all of 2 minutes between the lynchpins and a bit of muscling. Also might be worth saying: my plow arrived in a damaged box and the blade had a big dent in it. It's a plow, it'll get beaten up anyway. Just remember to clean it and keep it waxed

First season, still a couple of months to go and it's been removed for repair. The rails that attach the blade to the hitch assembly are woefully weak. Thin metal that has been weakened with holes to apparently lighten it up make for a weak link. If it didn't angle, it may hold up, but because of the side loads from plowing with the blade at an angle, these weak rails bend laterally out past the pivot bolt. If you live where you get more than a foot of heavy snow, you're going to be broke down when you need it most. Poor quality.

The plow was relatively easy to mount except for installing the wear rings. I had to loosen the attachment plates on the plow to get enough clearance. The ATV mounting plate worked on my 1998 Yamaha Grizzly YFM600, which I did not expect. That was very good. I have not tested it in snow, but it is a better size with a stronger push tube than the 15 year-old plow I had. The only problem was the plow blade was damaged. It had a good size, deep dent on one side and a heavy scratch on the other. These looked to be where the blade was close to the push tube in the shipping box. I saw an online installation video with similar damage, so this looks like a systemic problem in packaging. I gave it 3 stars because I was very unhappy with the damage. I did not want to go through the return of such a heavy item and others with the same problem probably did not either. I figured it will not affect durability much, but maybe in a few years I will regret not returning it.

I’ve been looking to buy a plow for one of my atv’s for a few weeks.With so many to choose from it was hard finding a good value.I found this kit at our local running’s store for $400.After researching for hours,I decided to go with this one as it appeared very well made.For whatever reason I decided to try amazon before going to running’s to find it for only $217 plus prime delivery.Without hesitation i ordered.The day after I found the price was back to $399,so I got a steal.I have to 08 can am outlanders which have a unique frame design.The universal mount needed a little modification to work,still installation,and assembly was under an hour.Even at $399 it’s a good deal,everything is beefy,including the hardware.All bolts and spacers are garage eight hardened,other brands are not.I would highly recommend this product! Update... 4/02/2020 spring blizzard. Having used the plow only three times I have found an issue. The metal plate that attaches to the blade is a weak spot. I noticed after last plowing that the blade was hanging about 3" off the ground when lowered completely. The lower tubular arms were hitting the ground due to the bent plate.I use this plow very carefully, definitely not abusing in any way.I reinforced it with gussets, and works perfectly again.I won't change my rating as I still believe it's a very good buy.

I bought this plow in early 2021 but yesterday was the first opportunity I’ve had to use it because we haven’t had much snow the past few years. My ATV is on the smaller side (300 cc), but it still did great. In addition to my driveway, I plowed driveways for several neighbors too. I already had the ATV so this was a great addition.

Great plow kit for the money. Works very well on my 13 brute force. I recommend to get better clips for the sliders, lost mine three times and its in a snowbank now. Bend the mounting pin retainers a bit before install, they are an absolute pain to get off if you don't. Has a bit more play in the angle adjustment and mounting pins then I'd like, but not a huge issue. Very high lifting blade it will cover the headlights on the brute. Very durable I've hit a couple things and got hit by the daughter with her quad and nothing is bent at all. You will not be disappointed in this purchase.

It fit my 2007 Polaris sportsman 500X2, I just had to leave out one spacer on the frame mount, I could have used them all with a little grinder work but no need. Followed instructions and no issue. I did have to move the plow stop bolts to a different location and lessen the spring tension once mounted on machine. So far I’ve plowed the driveway and cleared a larger section on a lake for skating! Cleared snow right to the ice clean. So glad I got it

Seems like real good quality and arrived 4 days early. Bolted up and mounted with ease to my 2014 arctic cat 400. Bring on the snow!!!

I had a little trouble installing on my 2019 Honda TRX 500 Rubicon. The only place the plow mount would fit was too far back for clearance of front wheels. I moved it forward to under the winch and made 2 support brackets from the winch mount out to the outer edges of the mounting bar. You have to remove skid pan as there is no place to mount with this on. It works good .
