Deka Power Sports ETX20L Battery

I was amazed that the seller shipped within a few hours of my order. The shipment came packaged well and it was exactly what I ordered. I think Deka batteries are the best for my Harley and my Big Dog chopper. They work great and don't let me down. I have ordered and used them for years.

The Deka battery fit like a glove in my 08 Harley Davidson FXSTC. It is the exact same dimensions as the Harley Battery and has the same specifications but at about $60 less. In doing my research, Deka makes batteries for many "companies" who put their logo on them. My previous battery was 6 years old and probably lost a cell. With this battery the bike did not hesitate to fire up. Shipping was fast and when I put the Deka on the 3 AMP Battery Tender, it read over 80% charge and was topped off in about half an hour. I will update this review as the summer goes on but I am confident that this will do the job well.

Great purchase. I purchased this battery 5 years ago the exact same model and with the use of a battery tender I had 5 years of maintenance free service. In Florida five years is an exceptional service time with our heat! This battery fits a 2009 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle perfectly. I definitely recommend purchasing this battery because it is fuild sealed, and completely maintenance free.

Didn't even last 5 months. These battery are junk. Internal resistance was high out of the box. It tested ok at first, always kept charged and on battery tender when not in use. Now when I crank the jetski I immediately see the low battery light come on.

I found I ran this battery down fairly quick. To be honest I put it in a bike that needed a lot of trouble shooting to start I bought used. When the battery got weak I put a heavy charge into it and drained it again repeating 1/2 dozen times. I put it on a slow 2amp charge over night several times. Now that I do have the bike running the battery is the weak link. Maybe I beat the little guy up too much. The price is right however if you are going to abuse it might want something a bit more durable

The ETX20L fit my '94 Heritage Classic exactly, and worked perfectly right out of the box. There was no need to add acid or put it on the charger at all; I opened the box, installed the battery, and was off riding in 20 minutes. Good bye to that click, click, click from the old dead battery, I’m back in the wind baby!
