Smallish capsule, no flavor. This is a no brainer. You're going to get at least one: stomach bug, hangover, food poisoning. Your kids and pets, too. Activated charcoal pills help.I believe this helped save my dog's life when she ate sago palm. I found her in the yard, very sick, with piles of vomit filled with sago palm shreds. I took her in the house, popped some activated charcoal pills in her, called the vet, and hubs took her in. The vet forced a bottle of liquid activated charcoal in her, sent her home with another bottle for that night, and said "call me in 3 days for more bloodwork." I got the second bottle in her that evening, along with some food. I realized, after research, and confirmed with the vet 3 days later, he waited that long for additional tests because most dogs don't last 24 hours after ingesting sago palm.Did my fast response with activated charcoal at home help save her life? I usually purchase the Charcocaps brand and like them but found these at a slightly better price point and they have more charcoal for each 2-capsule dose (560mg vs 520mg)They work GREAT, just wish Amazon could keep them in stock!
