ECO what???
The only reason I purchased these was the “eco” promise. In terms of soy vs paraffin wax - i have to take their word for it.BUT when it comes to the “100% recycled plastic cup” statement I am rather confused and disappointed:1) see foto - there is an asterisk footnote that says “we use only 30% recycled plastic for production, compared with the traditional plastic cups”. Does this mean the rest 70% is virgin plastic? If so, then I’d rather use metal cups!!!!!! This is so misleading and unclear2) the cups come in a blister type tray —> extra plastic and although I totally see how production-wise this makes lots of sense, it still doesn’t convince me as an eco choiceLesson learnt: when companies simply brand things as ECO jumping on the bandwagon and essentially haven’t innovated at all or solved a problem in a thoughtful way, then you are left with 90 plastic tealights and lots of disappointment
