I don’t get it but my son loves these
I did get two of these because they are sparring swords, so I am told by my son who wanted these for his birthday. I don’t get it, but he loves them. They are very sturdy, a bit expensive IMO for what they are, but they seem to be around this much everywhere. They assembled easily. I wrapped the “handle parts” as the gift by themselves because the blades would have been too obvious…So to be clear, I bought two. This item is for a Qty of 1.Next, I will be buying hand protection (gloves).

Garbage
Ordered this and gave to my son for Christmas. This is garbage. Literally laughable. Bad plastic and looks nothing like photo. We missed the return window so now we are stuck with this.

Reliable quality
One of several different variants that I have purchased. The construction is durable and simple making travel very easy. Should it become warped from heat, easy to repair with blow dryer. Will buy again.

Blade good, pommel poor.
I purchased a Longsword once I started a HEMA sword class and it has been great. Got this in Dec 2022, and my instructor purchased 2 for class. 1 of the 2 had this happen 2 weeks after getting it. Mine broke in the same place, and other class blade had this happen today. The blade, hilt and grip are great, this particular design of the pommel, the break is where the nut is imbedded, making the thinnest part a super weak point. 3 blades all the same break.

Good entry level sparring sword
Good entry level sparring sword. Does not hit hard, so you could keep protection on a minimal level. Very slippery, but that is easily solved by applying duct tape on the blade. Also is light enough to use as an arming sword.
