Perfect for home grooming
This dryer is perfect for home grooming. It's powerful enough to dry my dogs (german shepherds, but one had a very plush coat like a husky), yet reasonably priced. It has variable speeds so I can use it on my puppy without scaring her or blowing her away :) . I recommend this.

Funtio
I have 2 terriers with long hair I show. On bath day it used to take most of the day to dry their hair. Now its just a matter of a couple of hours for both plus it has a variable speed which I love since I like more power on some parts of their hair ans less power on the more delicate hair. The price was much cheaper than at stores or dog shows. I have had this for 5 years and it still works great. I haven’t had any problems with it

Pretty good, but gets warm
This dryer works pretty well, but the air heats up before I can finish drying my newfoundland, so I have to dry him in two phases. The one at the local wash your own dog place works better and doesn't heat up.

LOVE this 4
LOVE this 4.0 HP dryer. Blow dried my aussie in quick time. The variable speed is the best, so is the temp of the air coming out. I have groomed horses, and short hair dogs, but this is my first dog with a long coat. I previously used my human hair dryer a few times and it was slow, too hot, even though I was careful not to burn my dogs skin. This is the ultimate dryer. Hope it lasts a long time. Thanks CherryBrook for FAST service. My dog looks great.

Gets hot
I was so excited to get this dryer delivered, as I have a Newfoundland who needs regular blowouts and his groomer gets busier by the day, so we can't get in as often as we'd like. The color is fantastic, and the attachments seemed super convenient tho I only tried one.Because Newfoundlands have a double coat and are such big dogs, it takes a while to work though the entire animal. When I used the dryer, it started out nice and cool but got almost as warm as my human hair dryer with the length of run time I needed.I could have gone longer as I had more to blow out, but I wasn't comfortable with the heat that was coming from the unit. I'll have to return it and try another brand made to stay cooler for longer. This is perfect for a mid to large dog, but I'll need something else for my giant.

Poorly made for price.
For the price of this unit, I really expected it to have more power. I've owned it for a few years now, but it never did any better than my cheaper version that actually heated up easier. I can't even get my husky all the way dry or blown out with this. I don't know if I got a reject, but after years of being frustrated with how long it takes and replacing the hose several times (they pop right off if you use the vacuum alot and cant go back on) I am replacing this as soon as I can. The hoses are not cheap to have to replace non stop or duct tape together, because you are tired of replacing them. I actually am about to purchase another hose, until I can get a new unit. Ridiculous.

Perfect!!!
My five Jack, Parson, Russels love it. The variable speed is the key for them to line up for a back rub! The fact that there is no heat involved actually works better than a hair dryer, which is never the right temp. I thought it might bother their ears and had put in cotton balls, but they shook them out, didn't need them. My Russies' have three types of coats, and they vary from tiny to normal size. I am surpised at how powerful this unit is. Doubt that I'll ever use it at full speed, but glad to have it just in case. Now, if they would just wait to take their turn, I'd be a happy camper!!!.

High Powered Dryer
When it comes to my dog fresh out of the tub I like to get him dry as soon as possible. This dryer helps with that goal. It is loud, so I would recommend wearing ear protection and starting off on a lower speed so your pup can get used to it. My doodle didn't like it at first for that reason, but adjusted quickly with treat bribery. The dryer itself comes with a few different nozzles, but they usually aren't necessary. The cord is nice and long, and the tube is as well. The dryer feels sturdy; I've had it for a few months now and haven't had any issues. I have a goldendoodle (very fluffy), and this bad boy cut the drying time to about a third of what it was compared to the hand dryer I was using before. Also like the no heat feature, as the air warms up gradually as you use it but doesn't get hot for sensitive dog skin. It's worth the investment for the amount of time and grief you will save by drying your dog quickly.

I'm pretty sure it would work well on a regular dog's
Does not work very well on thick Goldendoodle fur which is very thick, dense and curly. I'm pretty sure it would work well on a regular dog's coat
