The main image does not carry the usp certification. how can i be sure the product lot being sold adheres to that standard?

USP certification on newest label. I asked Nature Made what the difference was between the high potency and extra (ultra) strength Vitamin D3 IU 5000 vitamins, as both are currently available. In response, Nature Made stated it updated its packaging with a label design that celebrates Nature Made’s iconic brown bottle and yellow label. It advised that there is no difference between high potency or (ultra) extra strength, and stated there have been no changes made to its vitamins and supplements including ingredients, amount of nutrients, and suggested use.

Yes, this product is certified by USP. Excellent dietary supplement.

Does this contain GMO?

If the other 3 responses do not satisfy your questions, then you'd need to ask the manufacturer. If you're worried about GMO D3 and don't want to risk taking a pill to supplement a deficiency, then I suppose you should consider making your own. It's easy, just make sure you get a dose of sunlight sufficient to your need. Be careful not to wear sunscreen as your body needs a full dose, but make sure not to expose your skin too much to the sunlight. Don't want to get melanoma. Of course the real risk in buying non FDA approved vitamins is whether what you are buying is truly what it says on the label. I may have an answer to that question in 6 months when I see if my vitamin D deficiency has improved.

From what type of animal is the gelatin used in this product derived?

In checking various sources, it seems Nature Made uses pork derived gelatin in their liquid gel capsules.Some of their Vitamin D pills are gelatin free.

Great product great value FAST DELIVERY!

I have been taking this D3 supplement for almost a year and I have absolutely noticed positive results. I feel better I have more energy. I recently had a physical and the dr did a blood test and my D level was 61! These supplements are absolutely absorbing into my system and they are working! These supplements are a great price. The size of the soft gel is medium small easy to swallow there is virtually almost no stickiness of the soft gels. I feel like my immune system is stronger for taking D3. Solid Vitamin D3

As the title says, I think this was a solid vitamin d3. Did notice a small boost in energy levels, though I changed a variety of things in my health regiment so who knows. Easy to take and great price. I however will not be repurchasing, just wanted one that also had k2 and wasnt made with seed oils.
