The Cricket hair brush itself is a great little brush and works really well, but I’m giving it 4 stars because I didn’t realize it was a mini when I ordered. Quality & Performance: Even though it’s small, the brush is well made and does a nice job detangling and smoothing hair. The bristles feel gentle on the scalp, and it glides through without pulling. Perfect for Travel: Once I realized it was a mini, I actually appreciated it for what it is. It’s lightweight and compact, making it great for a purse, gym bag, or travel kit. Comfortable to Use: Despite the smaller handle, it’s comfortable to hold and easy to control. It works well for touch-ups and quick styling. Just Check the Size Before Ordering: My only issue was my own mistake—I was expecting a full-size brush. The listing does note the size, but it’s easy to overlook. If you’re looking for a standard everyday brush, this may feel smaller than expected. Overall Impression: If you want a compact, high-quality mini brush for travel or on-the-go use, this is a great option. Just be sure you know it’s a mini before ordering.

I've been using these Cricket brushes for so long, I can't remember owning any others! When these came out, you could only buy them at Beauty Supply stores like Sally's. I would go with My Mom so she could get cheaper hair dye and stuff. I remember her buying the larger one, with a red handle and a round one. Had to be the 80's, because she was told to get one by her stylist for her "Dorothy Hammel" cut. In any case, one day I used it, and I thought my hair looked great that day! Extra High!!! A few days later, she gave me my own! These days, I don't need that much 'umph', so this Mini version is perfect! This time, I purchased 3, one to stash in each bathroom!! The price is very reasonable, and if you take care of them, they can last you a few years before needing to be replaced.

Cricket makes the best brushes for thick hair. I have several. This half-round tunnel is my favorite, so much so that I wore one out. It took decades but finally the red balls were coming off the bristles. Hopefully this new one I just bought is as well made (seems to be). This brush is the perfect shape for styling shorter to mid-length hair. (When my hair is longer, I use Cricket's large paddle brush, to avoid tangling.) No static, feels great in the hand, vented well for using w/ dryer. Doesn't scratch the scalp even w/ hard brushing (kinda feels like a head massage!). Only tiny drawback, is due to the balls on bristles, it's hard to clean hair and lint out of it. But so what. Absolutely the best brushes, IMO.

Parfait pour coiffer les cheveux courts. Je l'utilise énormément dans ma Barbershop. Je lisais les commentaires et quelqu'un se plaignait après l'avoir utilisé dans des cheveux longs 🙈 c'est seulement pour les cheveux courts, donc ne vous fiez pas aux commentaires qui disent que c'est une brosse horrible. Servez-vous de votre logique et utiliser la brosse dans les bonnes conditions et vous allez être satisfait vous aussi!
