Nose Better Non-Greasy Aromatic Relief Gel, 0.46 Ounce

I am just coming off of 2 weeks of a sinus/throat bacterial infection and viral bronchitis on top of asthma. As I was starting to recover from the sinus/throat bits, which DID respond to antibiotics, my allergies also joined in the fun. My nose was about the rawest it's been in years. So bad that the outside AND inside of one nostril was nearly untouchably painful and I was very concerned about an ulcer developing inside my nose. I went through boxes of tissues...good tissues, too...but there is only so much the poor nose can handle!One night, in the middle of the night, I found myself digging through my medicine drawer in complete desperation, looking for my ancient tube of Nose Better. FOUND IT! Thank goodness! Even though the texture wasn't so great anymore (it can get a little grainy when it gets old), I knew that all would be better in the end. And it was! In only a few days, Nose Better had healed up my very nasty nose.I came right onto Amazon and ordered myself a nice fresh tube of Nose Better, so that I am prepared for next time!So what makes Nose Better so fabulous? A number of things, actually. As you'll see in the name, it is called an "aromatic relief gel." This means that it has a smell and an action reminiscent of your Mom putting aromatic goop under your nose or on your chest when you were a kid and had a chest or head cold (at least, she did if you are as old as I am!). It's also VERY soothing. I LOVE the gel texture. It stays where you put it for one thing, and it is very gentle.Here's what you need to know...when you first put Nose Better on a very raw nose, it's going to sting! BUT the ouch only lasts from a few seconds to a minute and then, my friend, you are on your way to feeling MUCH better. So while it is soothing your poor ol' crusty nose skin, it is also helping you breathe better with its aromatic properties. You will wake up in the morning feeling MUCH better about your nose!I don't personally think that the aromatic properties of Nose Better is enough to completely open your head/sinuses if you are super congested, but it DOES help. It DOES feel fabulous. The only downside is that your nose can feel WET for a few minutes until you get used to it, so you may be fooled into thinking you need to wipe that nose again...but don't! Hold off. Let it do its thing.I was introduced to this product YEARS ago when I used to have chronic sinus infections. Until this recent sickness, I hadn't had to dig out my tube of Nose Better in a long time...but now I've got a new tube and I'm ready. Bring it on, spring!

No more crusty dry nose. I've use a great nasal spray that clears my nasal passages and usually gives relief from the dry winter air. My nose got a sore that I couldn't get rid of so I searched and found this and it quickly relieved the problem. A small amount on a q tip morning & night works well. Also using the spray above clears out sinus.

I first used this 30 years ago when I was a teen and then remembered it as an adult. It is so soothing for my tender nose and it helps me breathe as I fall asleep. It has a very pleasant smell and feel to it. I'm not sure what happened in the fall of 2023 but it was out of stock everywhere. You could get it on eBay for a huge markup but that would be ridiculous! I was trying to find substitutions to no avail. So glad it's back, would be devastated if discontinued!

When I travel to the mainland, especially the high desert, my nose takes a beating. By day 4 all the running and blowing leads to bleeding. I use this to moisturize at night and in the morning to relieve that problem. The added benefit is having my daughter use it at night to cut out the snoring! It was a problem when we traveled together and shared a room. Now for the most part it’s quiet.

Works as intended I would buy again if needed

This stuff is amazing. It burns a fair bit on contact but within a second the burning changes to a cooling feeling. I get very flaky skin when Im sniffly (because of the constant use of tissues on my already tender nose skin) and this stuff really gets rid of those ugly bits of flaky skin faster than anything else i've ever used. After about 3 days the dead skin sort of just sloughs off all at once leaving you with baby soft and no longer tender nose skin. It may sound a little gross, but I personally enjoy seeing all that dead skin come on in one go. It's a lot like peeling elmer's glue off your hands when you were a kid. The product stains the dead skin a bit of a greenish color, but it's not apparent until it comes off so you dont have to worry about walking around with a green nose. If it's skin-protecting qualities weren't enough to sell you, the aromatics in the formula have a wonderful effect on swollen sinuses by opening them up and allowing you to breathe through what otherwise would be a completely blocked up nose. No more waking up with a dry mouth, just a softer nose that you can actually breathe through.

I've been using this for at least a decade or more. If you get a stuffy nose at night and want a gel to rub in it to clear your breathing and sooth the inside you hit the goldmine with Nose Better.

If you suffer with dry nostrils do not buy this,nostrils even dryer 10 min after application,for that price you want way better than this,avoid!! Only giving it star cause have to rate it
