SONY DVPSR510H DVD Player with 6ft High Speed HDMI Cable (Renewed)

My old DVD player started making my movie watching a pain when it started adding a buzzing sound to my entertainment. After blaming it on the TV, buying a new one and finding the same problem (ug!), I purchased this and am happy to be able to easily play disks with a simple to use player that takes up very little space. It's easy to hook up and operate, though it may not have every possible adjustment that my old sony did. It works great, and my old remote works with it, so I have a spare...just in case. Go for it. The price is right and the quality is, too.

The DVD player arrived and it looks like it has never even been seen by another person. It is in NEW condition. Had a little trouble with the remote control at first but the seller immediately sent me a replacement remote making it so easy. Everything works perfectly. I rate this seller a 5+++

Purchased this DVD player for the kids to be able to watch their DVD collection on our new Sony HD wall tv... its a very basic unit, but we've tried it, and it does a nice job for what it needs to do. Picture quality is ok... if you are close to the TV you can see some pixelation, but from about 10 feet away its nice and clear overall. Plus, its compatible with the TV, and the remote even automatically could control the TV volume.

Works great, easy to setup, comes with the proper cable. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a basic DVD player with HDMI output capability. Build quality is about what you'd expect for the price point. Image quality is high. What amazed me was the archaic user interface. I'm fairly adept at working through various user interfaces of electronic devices, and admit that I had to consult the reference guide to figure some things out. The user interface is of the type found on first generation DVD products 20+ years ago. That said, there are few DVD-only players left (most also do Bluray). This was for my senior parents, who had no need for Bluray, and therefore I didn't see the need to pay the extra $$$ on a Bluray player they wouldn't use the features of. The first DVD player I bought them was from a local drug store, and it lasted all of three or four months of very infrequent use before breaking. Hopefully we'll get more mileage out of this one. I bought this one because it included the HDMI cable. The fact that it was renewed didn't matter -- for all practical purposes it was brand new (maybe a few scuffs on the front plate if I squint and try to find them). I took perhaps undeserved comfort in the fact that it's a name brand I've heard of, Sony, as opposed to an off brand, though I imagine they're all probably made in the same place.

El equipo es básico pero solo lo necesito para unos discos muy puntuales región 1 y es justo lo que busco. Solo hay que configurar correctamente la salida de video y queda excelente. La estética es muy bueno para ser renovado y dado que no me voy a estar enfocando en si la carátula está rayada o no es un excelente producto.

Funciona bien, no he tenido ningún problema. Muy compacto.

La DVD es muy buena, funciona todo al 100% y la recomiendo mucho, el unico detalle es que pensaba que era multiregion, cosa que no fue asi. No obstante es un gran aparato, lee unicamante region 1
