High qualifty pulley
This is a high quality very well made pulley that is primarily for garage door openers but can be used anywhere that a pulley of this size is required. I used this pulley to replace a worn out pulley on my weight set and it works great; good quality ball bearings allow for smooth and quiet operation.

Works with modification
Purchased this to replace the plastic pulley included with Craftsman Garage Door Opener that was broken. It did not fit in the original bracket hole, but I used my sawzall and cut back approx 1" to make it fit. I also had to find a compatible bolt to fit the hole of this pulley that would also work in the precut hole of the bracket. It took some effort but I am very pleased with the outcome and like that this pulley has a bearing.

Excellent quality for a very good price relative to local options
Excellent quality for a very good price relative to local options. Be careful to have garage door up and spring tension relieved before removing old pulley. Then, do one side at a time and pay attention to cable path because even as simple as it is, it is not immediately clear how a totally slack cable laying on the garage floor should be routed. Yes, I had to go look at the other side to figure it out.

These pulleys are awesome!!!
I bought them to replace the plastic ones on my indoor exercise machine. They are much stronger and work a lot better than the plastic. I feel safer using these with over 215lbs of resistance weight.

Not Bad, good price
Does the trick, but if you're looking for precision bearings these aren't it. They will last but if you're looking for super quiet and precise keep looking. I have then holding up a barn door and there a little loud and move around a bit.

Does me no good. Will have to order a less heavy duty ...
This pulley is bigger than 3 inches and the hole in the center was too small to fit the bolt. It also would not fit in the slot where it was suppose to slide into where it hooks to the chain. Does me no good. Will have to order a less heavy duty plastic pulley unfortunately.

Garage door replacement sheaves
I replace a broken sheave (pully), whose beating had fallen out. I also replaced its mate on the other side, just because. The door worked, again! Yippee! These sheaves appear to be better built, than the old units. They are riveted together, rather than the method securing the older units (I don't know the terminology). They worked so well I purchased 6 more and replaced ALL of the sheaves on both doors. We'll see if, in fact, they are constructed better - over the next decade, our so.I would recommend them.

approximate dimensions
Dimensions: 3.05" outside dia., 2.35" grove dia., 0.688" hub width, 0.38" bore, max grove width at outside edge 0.51", sheet metal 0.065". Zinc chromate. For my low speed interior barn door use, looks well made. Nearly an exact match for the 1912 pulley that failed a few years ago.
