I don't like wearing masks in general but also know they are a necessity when in an environment with particulates in the air that you don't want to breathe in, such as sanding dust. They work very well compared to others I have used, especially the ones without an output vent. They don't cause my eye protection to fog up as much as most others I have used. I bought these over others with vents even though they are a tiny bit more expensive. That might matter if your purchasers care about how much it would cost for thousands of them. I don't use that many so the few pennies more are ok. They are heavy duty and catch all the dust. They are easy to put on and I don't mind them when I am working nearly as much as others I have used. I think I will throw away unused others that aren't nearly as good. I don't notice any fine dust getting through the material. The vent works very well. I like these masks even though I hate wearing masks.

I had a house fire next door and the smoke caused me bronchial phenmonia. In order to clean up my house, I wanted a mask that would handle smoke particulate. As a female with a thinner face, I was worried these would be too large for me; however they are quite tight. They are almost too small on my husband and father. At least they make a good seal. The exit valve is nice so, but they still get quite warm. I would not buy again for day to day work but I would use for specialty work. It's too early yet to see if I get sick again from being in the house (aka, how effective the mask is) but will update.

These are excellent particle filtration masks with a valve that lets you more easily exhale. I have used them for many years while woodworking, because they let you breathe easy while working/breathing hard.They are not helpful for Covid safety, because Exhaled breath goes out the valve without filtering it through mask. Therefore you could spread Covid.Amazon lists these for solvent safety, but they are not rated for solvents by 3M. You need multi-stage carbon filters for solvent safety.Some reviewers complain about them coming in a plastic bag with a twist tie. That is the only way I ever received the 10 packs. I don’t think that these masks were ever intended for sterile situations. A plastic bubble sealed 2 mask package used to be available before COVID. None of the packages were labeled for Medical use.Amazon no longer lets me order these because I’m not a registered business. So I recently ordered them from Granger.

Not sure if these are medical grade (there are several types of N95 masks), but these are 3M quality and they provide way more protection than ordinary face masks. Just know that they fit quite tightly and are a lot warmer to wear than ordinary surgical or cloth masks. But medical people wear N95 masks day after day all day long and if they can deal with a bit more discomfort in exchange for superior safety, I can, too,

While these N95 respirators are NOT recommended for infection control primarily because of the exhaust valve (your exhalant is not filtered but instead exits the valve), they are, nevertheless, good respirators for dust and for smoke during wildfires. The exhaust valve also makes breathing easier and this valve also reduces fogging should you wear glasses.

the only way to keep eyeglasses from fogging when wearing this mask is to take the glasses off. Not what I was hoping for when I purchased these masks for price considerably higher than a good mask without the "exhaust valve". llllllllllll
