Q: How many decibels does it put out at its loudest?

I do not have a decibel count but the only time I know the ice maker is running is when it draws water and drops ice. Its not loud at all.

Q: This unit will be installed in a sealed cabinet area , will the cabinet area need to be vented ?

There will need to be room at the front of the unit for venting, but the sides and back will only need 1"-2" of space.

Q: It makes too much ice and they all get clumped together. Any advice how to fix this?

You're right about the ice clumping! I've had our ice machine quite a while now and have learned a few things. Don't let the machine fill up with ice. I've found that maybe 1" or 2" of ice is plenty to have on hand. Stop the machine from making more ice by lifting the bail which will keep the unit working to keep cold but not make ice. If you use more ice then let it accumulate 3" or 4" of ice then lift the bail to stop any more ice from forming. I defrost the entire unit once a month to keep it clean so you should empty the bin into an ice chest, (so you have ice while defrosting the unit) turn the machine off with the switch on the lower left front and put a large towel in the bottom of the unit to catch the ice that melts from the ice making unit. Make sure the bail is in the off position! Dry the ice bin and when all the ice accumulation has melted, wipe out the unit with a towel, reinsert the ice bin in the unit, turn the unit on making sure the bail is in the 'off' position and let the unit come to the proper temperature inside, then lower the bail to begin ice production. I found this works best and gives me ice that's fresh and not clumped together. Hope this helped!
