Bought these for my ESOL students. I was expecting them to be much larger as they made a point of advertising how much bigger they are than other brands. Of course, on first use, students already bent them for no good reason. I didn’t have time to laminate them beforehand. 🙁

These are perfect for any age child as a way of teaching emotions. They feature real people with a variety of believable emotions. I’m not a fan of learning human emotions by viewing cartoons or emojis.

The cards are good, but there are many words that could be used so I don't understand the reason behind using the same words with different pictures. I saw the other reviews about repeat words, but I was hoping I wouldn't get a set like that. It kind of makes you feel like you got cheated. But, I gave 3 stars because they still work for what I need them for.

I used these cards to facilitate my communication with my autistic, non-verbal brother. He is an older person (60) and we did not have these type of tools when he was younger. He responded to the cards and I think it was gratifying to him that I could acknowledge his feelings.
