It's not bad for using it for a drawing. Also makes it easy to add elements of several photos to create 1.It's very easy to put together, and the clear reflector board works well. I do like the no glare tint that is added.

Simply put, this is very good for what it does at this price point. I purchased it to make outline sketches for watercolors. I did not need detail, just proportion and form, and found that I could get a fair amount of detail anyway.For those with concerns about the app, it is not needed, you can use any picture.For those that could not nee the image, make sure you are looking through the glass at your paper, and tracing the reflected image from the screen. You may need to adjust the lighting of your room or screen, there needs to be more light in the screen (brighter), but you still need to have light in the room.For those concerned with 'scratches', the plate comes with two protective films that are easily scratched to keep it safe when shipping; take both of them off.For those concerned about the color, yes, the polarized plate has a tint, which is normal.TIPS: adjust screen brightness based on room brightness; you need a balance. You can move the image around on the screen and line up the paper to make drawings that are larger than the screen image. Turn off auto rotate on your screen to keep alignment where you need it; this can only be done in some apps like Gallery.Overall, exactly what I needed for travel and getting proportions right for sketches.

First of all, the app needed to make this product work has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple. Since you have to use your cell phone or tablet, this was a red flag for me since the developer was from another country.Next the projected image is about the size of your cell phone screen. Way too small to be very useful except for the most basic of images. You can try to piece the image together or sketch one section at time, but I doubt that would result in a great image.While it's not terribly difficult to figure out how to put it together, there are no directions. And the app seems to decide arbitrarily that the file format of the photo you're trying to use is not supported. Took two photos of same image, same time, same iPhone. One was fine. The other was invalid format. Not worth the frustration. Deleting the app and returning it. Very disappointing.

3 stars for functionality. 5 stars for build quality and packaging.I ignored the reviews, thinking it would be fine. However, the image created on the paper is too small to be very helpful. If you’re creating bookmarks or postcards, it might be good. The image comes through well. However, it is essentially the same size as it is on your phone screen. If you’re looking to completely create, what’s on your phone, size and all, then it works. Anything larger would be useless.The item itself is built well. The pieces for the base are sturdy and fit well together. The image is clear as you look through the lens. I wish there was a way to make the image larger. I would give it five stars if there was.

So this was easy to set up and use. I actually really like the case it came in. keeping to keep storing in it when not using. Very nice. Then the pieces are easily put together and I can see my screen reflected fine and can trace. Can't do large items because it is only so big but that is ok. I also used not a device. You can't see the reflection of a photo if it is just there. But if you shine a light at your paper it reflects and then you can see it for tracing as well. So it works good for more than just phone, as long as you have light. I think this is pretty neat and easy to use. I actually got it thinking of my 5 yr old. He loves coloring and drawing and I thought he might like this too. He was excited when I showed him. He doesn't trace as well as I would but the practice is good!My rating5 star - I really like this item, really made me go wow you should get this4 star- I like this item and it is fine, but didn't go wow you need this3 star- this item is alright but has a few flaws2 star- quiet a few flaws I would totally go somewhere else1 star- junk no good don't waste your time.

Is nice quality. Wouldn't recommend the app not safe. Even google tells you it's not safe. Very difficult to see the item.You're trying to trace on the other side Of the tray. Is not as easy as it looks
