Keeps water safe pressure. Small simple and effective

We went to a campsite recently and wanted to make sure that the water pressure to our Trailer was regulated so we wouldn’t burst any lines. This device was great and the large dial is easy to read.

I purchased a "like new" item so I could live to shop another day, but the item I received was not "like new." The regulator had rust throughout, the rubber seals were questionable, and the gauge itself was missing a cover and bent.I will return, buy a "new" version, and will update my review.**UpdateI purchased a 'new' version of this after returning the 'like new version. It works very well. The gauge told me everything I needed to know and I was confident on the pressure coming into my camper. Updated from 3 stars to 4.

I ha too much pressur in the hose & it kept blowing the connectors off. This pressure reducer saved the day.

Works as stated and still going after 1 yr.

We have used it for 9 months. But it always reads low and doesn't let very much water in. We have way better pressure when we just fill our tank and use that. I don't know if ours is defective but it definitely isn't set at the 40 psi it claims.

Worked perfectly for my rv

Apparently this regulator is preset at 45 to 60 psi and is non adjustable so it just reports the preset pressure. So what is the point of the guage? Just as well since my guage failed after a few uses. I will continue to use it on the assumption that it is still reducing the campground water pressure. Or is it?

Overall I liked it, seems good quality - time will tell. I would like to have had some information with it as what pressure range is in the low/good/high ranges.

Useful addition to water system. I was surprised at the first location we used it how low the pressure was. Being able to see the pressure build as you open the tap is a good way to know when to stop and restrict the pressure to the onboard plastic pipe system.
