B.A.P.S (DVD)

One of my faves!! BAPS* is a true ‘90s classic! Halle Berry and Natalie Desselle absolutely shine in this hilarious, feel-good comedy. The fashion, the music, the humor — everything is pure nostalgic fun. It’s over the top in the best way, full of laughs, heart, and unforgettable moments. If you grew up in the ‘90s, this movie takes you right back, and if you didn’t, it’s still a fun ride. Definitely one of my favorite comfort movies!

BAPS is a favorite movie of mine that I’ve been watching since it came out. It’s one of my Oldies but goodies. It’s very funny and a tear jerker in the end.

This a great movie very entertaining

C.EO, C.E.O, C.E.O!!! This movie is such a cult classic!! It will make you laugh and reminisce about old times. Theres comedy, romance, action, and a great life lesson. I would highly recommend!

A delightful movie without the excessive cursing. A play on Black American stereotypes. The good guys win...

Love this movie, also has a great story line

I love this movie. It is so hilarious. There is a delay though in some parts where the voice and picture is off though.

. . . auf der dvd wurde unter anderem das original bildformat von 4:3 mal wieder zu 16:9 aufgezoomt, sodaß wirklich mächtig viel vom bild fehlt :( man wird dann noch betrügerisch in die irre geführt, weil im menue kann man wählen, ob man fullscreen 4:3 oder lieber widescreen sehen möchte. die beiden bilder zum jeweiligen bildformat vermitteln einem tatsächlich, daß man bei der widescreen version rechts und links mehr vom bild sieht als bei der fullscreen version. ABER das ist nur lug und trug, man sieht nur einen 16:9 ausschnitt von der 4:3 fassung :( seht oben meine kundenbilder die ich zur verfügung stelle. P.S. es sind beide versionen auf der dvd, sowohl die original 4:3 als auch die aufgezoomte 16:9. das ist positiv und sollte auf jeder dvd/bluray so sein.

Sometimes I just want to see Hally Berry in BAPS. She's excellent and so is her co-star, and I love the story line. Shalom.

Saw a bit of this film in a gay bar called Harvey's in Castro, San Francisco. It was being shown on huge screens wwith no sound but subtitles instead. It is a scream. Halle Berry in an outrageous blonde wig is fabulous and Natalie Desselle as her slightly more than curvy, soul food cooking friend is sublime. But it is Ian Richardson, looking down his proud, English butler's nose that steals the show. If you want depth in your movies look elsewhere, if you want camp entertainment you've come to the right place.

Perfect long wait time

The video quality is very poor, it even starts off shaky...clearly a pirated copy.
