Beginners you can't go wrong with this Uke! Great experience all around.
I've been playing Uke for 3mos now consistently, and this Huawind ukulele is a great instrument for starting that journey. I've held/played about 3 other ukes in that time, and the quality of this one really stands out.Pros:- Holds tune very well. That first week or 2 you will need to work out the strings and be diligent to tuning every session and even a few times during a session. Once they've been broken in though, you won't need to do more than some minor tweaking each day and then it should hold tune for hours. I tune once a day, maybe twice if I have a longer practice, and minor adjustments at that.- The tuners are also adjustable, I have mine tightened up a bit via the screws on the ends so that it's easy to give it a gentle twist without going too far. I've played ukes with very loose tuners which made me often overshoot the mark when you're close to being in-tune.- Has a rich sound given the price. Of the 4 ukes I've played in a similar price range, this was by far the best sounding, easiest to tune, and best "feel" (that part I can't really explain, it's subjective).- Subtle but 'professional' look. Little bit of ornamentation around the sound hole is a nice touch but overall nothing gaudy, a simple clean presentation to it.- has mounts for a strap which IMO is a big plusCons:- Only one con really, and it's minor -- I think this kit would benefit more from a strap than a gig bag. Getting a uke strap made a huge difference in my practice since I could focus only on my strumming/fretting/playing instead of fighting to hold onto the uke while playing. Just something else I have to learn, but I often find without a strap the uke will move and wiggle while I play and throw off my finger motions, which in turn hurt my practice. On the other hand, ukes are so portable by nature that the gig bag feels kind of superfluous. Maybe if I had to stow the uke for a long distance I'd feel differently, but if I'm traveling by foot or by car it's easy to tote along on its own.

Good for the price
Good value for an entry level ukelele. Not a high end one by any means but it does come with Aquila brand strings.

Great quality!!
My 10 year old son saved up his money to purchase this ukulele. He did his own research and selected this particular one. He has been very happy with his purchase, it’s a great quality product and well crafted. As he is a beginner it has been perfect for him to learn on as well the tuner has been a great help with learning how to keep it in tune. My husband has since decided to order one of his own. I (mad my son) would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to learn the ukulele.

Quality
I am an elementary school music teacher and I use this to accompany children's songs. Easy to use, stays in tune (after an adjustment period of a week or two), and sounds great!
