Love the look and quality of this zipper on a jacket/hoodie!

Holy cow, what a huge difference putting this zipper on Dad's coat, after removing the wimpy plastic one (no heavier than a dress zipper!!). I'm sure that this zipper will now outlast the coat!

I recently found a coat online that was marked down for a Christmas sale. It was about $50. That is an absolute steal for a full figured woman. It's a polyfill puffer coat and I wanted it for work. The coat arrived and fit well and was very warm. The only problem was the zipper. After a few days some of the little teeth things fell off and so did the pull. Since the coat kept me plenty warm in windy 25°F weather there was no way that I was sending it back. I decided that replacing the zipper would be the best option.This zipper really is sturdy and well made. I won't be having any more problems with my coat. If you need a reliable zipper this is it.

Very heavy duty. Only thing missing in description is that it's a woman's coat zipper with base portion on left hand side(zipping up left handed) where men's coats have base portion on right hand side (zipping up right handed). It may not be politically correct by I was taught that by my mother was a home ec teacher educated in the 30',s and that is way it was described to me growing up. Not offending anyone purposely but the zipper I replaced was a right hand originally and this zipper is not described anywhere I found as left or right handed. Just is awkward to use for me. But does work and can't be any heavier duty I think. Zips great after I get it started in base which is awkward for me.

This was a replacement for a broken zip in a second hand coat I was given. It was the perfect size and, as I have a sewing machine, I was able to replace the old one very easily. This was the only zip I could find online that came in the longer length, so very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased this zipper for a fire retardant winter work coat, took it to a seamstress for replacement. Zipper was working fine for about 3 weeks total being zipped twice per day, then the stop portion of the zipper that's "crimped" to the zipper material came off along with the zip itself. The original zipper brass #10 as well lasted on the coat 4 years........so conclusion is quality maybe isn't the best and considering the price, it definitely was not a good purchase.

Nice repair zipper! Fixed me an old (fake purple cloudveil) winter sweater which had a broken zipper and in style tooo! Its an head turner now

Replaced the zipper with one from insulated coveralls. New zipper is superior quality compared to original.

This product should have been displayed with the zipper separated. This is a left handed zipper, and I needed a right handed zipper for a men’s jacket. When I search for a right handed zipper, this item comes up.
