Easy to install
The bracket is heavy duty and easy to install,requires no drilling. It faces the driver and within easy reach. The slot is designed so the handset easily slides in. Highly recommend!

Modified it
Using a ProClip phone holder, and this item, I drilled 4 holes, and riveted the two pieces together to turn a CB mic holder to a quality phone holder.

Rattles
When on the trail, the handheld cb radio rattles... it would be better if it had a thicker rubber piece to avoid rattling
