I don’t know!! Check with other retailers and see if their prices have risen as well......... maybe the increased cost comes from the origin??!!??

Q: Is there supposed to be a seal on the inside dispenser part?

My Weleda was in an individual box but did not have a seal on the tube. It did not appear to have been squeezed before (you can usually tell if it had). Love this product line

I was given a tube of the "Original Ultra Rich Cream" and loved it (my friend bought it from Target). Then I purchased the Weleda "Skin Food Original Ultra Rich Cream" as well as the " . . . Skin Food Light Nourishing Cream" AND their Body Butter, all through Amazon. Great product and as far as I can tell it's authentic. I love this line.
