Great bars. Fit easily look nice especially in black. I don’t think they will scratch easily. But mind out for Hermes. Or any delivery. 2 of the ends were slightly bent obviously been knocked about a bit either in warehouse or in delivery. This was not obvious on delivery until I took them out and tried to fit the end caps. Very nearly contacted amazon to complain. I managed with a hammer to hit the end bits in. This could cause issues later if I need them out but at the time didn’t have time to send back as needed to use them.

Yes, yes, yes. Thule products are expensive, over priced even. However, if your planning on putting potentially thousands of pounds of bikes or a roof box on your car roof, don't you want to be certain it'll still be there when you arrive? This kit really it top quality and fully customised to fit on your car with a combination of mounts and foot packs. Can't fault it and to top it off, these bars really do look the business!

Excellent quality roof bars, no wind noise or whistling that I’ve noticed, I can’t tell they’re even on. Very sturdy and very user friendly. Would recommend to anyone as these are worth paying the extra from your every day roof bars.

As some of the review says: it has a little bump on the edge making the bar-end cap hard to fit and mine has indeed, but there is nothing a little metal file can do. Considering that this is priced double in the US, I took a dive in spite of those "bad" reviews and a little fix, at the end of the day, its money well spent.

Great roof bars but came damaged

Get what u pay for with Thule.. although the premium for black seems like a bit much, it looks great and no scratches so far. Overall very easy to install and the aero is much quieter than previous square racks. T track is a great system.

i always looked and other brands and they dont look nice and strong enough like the thule ones, i just had to buy footpacks and fit them - intsructions are clear and you could fit them easily, this one does reduce the noise significantly compared to the square ones

Bit fiddly centralising the crossbar - There is a measure to balance but it’s on the underside... Once the Penny had dropped on the Weather Seal easy to install... I didn’t realise you have to tear the rubber seal apart to install.... No need to cut the insert rubber... Very quite at all speeds....

I used to have oem toyota and honda bars. This is really a pro level product. I did a lot of research, yakima vs this vs oem. No regrets. I have a 2021 honda odyssey and it was a bit tricky to get all the parts that fit. The bars should be 60 inch (for this car). They stick out a bit but that is great, gives so much more room on the roof. Looks stylish anyway. Choose the color that contrasts with the color of your car, you want the bars to be easily seen, for safety. My car is white, the bars black. The only feet that work are thule Rapid Crossroad. Dont worry about the straps, they are strong and have steel inside the rubber. They may be hard to find nowadays, got them at REI. No whistle at any speed with windows closed. With windows open i can hear some whistling at low speeds, doesn't bother me. Follow the correct orientation- like the airplane wing. Do get the locks on the feet- the caps don't hold very tight without them. My old thule gear (surfboard and kayak holders) needed longer bolts (1 cm longer each) but otherwise fit this bar. Get stainless carriage bolts m6 thread, they are better than thule black ones which rust. I got some from amzn / uxcell, some from ebay. The rubber tracks on the bars are great- so much easier to hold stuff and not have it slide, like the kayaks, when loading them and otherwise.
