Works best in a steady wind.
This kite dives to the left or right at low altitudes as you get into a certain angle in 0-3 mph winds or gusty winds. This is not optimal when you have to sway and pull on the line in no wind. It works great as a regular kite in a steady low wind. Steady, even without a tail, and easily uses all of the included line in a 6 mph wind. Make sure it is not too large for travel as it does not break down much.
