This is a great way to illuminate your aquarium. It took a couple of weeks to realise that I only needed 40% intensity to get the plants to grow but not encourage algae. Now everything is set up and the plants are growing great in my 180l tank. I can thoroughly recommend this product!

Perfect for my 60cm long planted tank. The light is very bright and can be adjusted. have diff colours too. The app is not that user-friendly but a good addition. Well worth the money if you are planning a planted tank. Allows you to keep the tank anywhere in the ouse without worrying about the need for natural sunlight.

Great light easy to set up and use

I was happy with it at first, but it has one serious flaw. You can configure it with Bluetooth and it's great, but if power is down even for a second then the light will turn off and won't come back on because the clock resets to midnight. You need to start the app and connect with Bluetooth to fix the timer. This is common on Bluetooth lights (WiFi lights don't have this issue), but I expected better at this price.Some people complain about the location permission required by the app. As an app developer, I can tell you that any app using Bluetooth on Android 11 or older needs to ask for location permission, it's not to track your location but any app with access to Bluetooth could potentially use it to scan for other devices and use that to determine the location.
