Creamy Paint Stick
Bought the mini set of metallics to try out in cold wax and oil painting artwork. They are creamy and have lots of metallic sheen. Goes on smoothly and works well for mark making on a cold wax/oil paint project. You just have to remember to pull away a bit of the 'skin' that forms to get to the creamy paint. It pops off as you use the stick also, so no problem and it keeps the paint inside nice and moist.I have used these with water mixable oil paints, no apparent odor.Less expensive than the pigment sticks. I am going to buy a couple of the sets of bright colors - hard to find oil colors in tubes in those color ranges.

Beautiful and way to use
I used the copper color to highlight my chalk painted cabinet. I love the way it turned out. These paint sticks are foolproof. The paint was easy to apply. You can make it subtle, like I did, or more dramatic. Love the flexibility.

Love These Paint Sticks
Since I don't normally use these colors a lot, I decided on these smaller sized sticks. It's very hard to find these oil based paints in pots anymore. Shiva did a grand job replacing pots I used to buy with these sticks. I have a number of them I use when painting and I can tell you they will last a long time and do a wonderful job. They're my new found love and I'll buy them again and again.

So easy to use
This was the first time I’ve used Shiva sticks after seeing all of the online tutorials. I thought it was defective when I got it because it felt sort of dry and wouldn’t make a mark on anything! I read the package twice and ...no instructions. Just so you know, you have to use a razor to sort of shave off the outer coating and then it’s ready to use. I found it super easy to blend in to the details in a furniture piece I was working on and it looks great! Maybe the manufacturer should know that not everyone knows how to use it...a few directions would be great!

Great product
First time using these Shiva sticks, they work very well and a little goes a long way. Easy to use, product goes on smoothly and you can wipe off excess if necessary. Dries to a beautiful hardened finish.

Great tool to highlight and or age a project
This is my first experience with shiva sticks. I have a large black metal piece that hangs on a dark wall. I love the piece and wanted it to stand out a little without popping. I used a combination of the silver and bronze shiva sticks and they aged and highlighted this piece perfectly! I am looking forward to using on other projects.

Vey crumbly
These sticks fall apart at the slightest pressure. They seemed dried out.Not worth it for me.

Easy to use and will keep forever without any special care
I don’t know where these have been all my like. I sprayed my metal patio furniture matte black and used the copper on corners and edges and anywhere it may have “naturally” worn to give the pieces an oil rubbed bronze effect. I absolutely adore them. Beyond easy to use and they store perfectly.
