Mostly works.
The light arrived right on time (actually early!) and all the packaging was in good shape. It appears to be good construction, all metal, 3 different mounting options and a cute little remote. Plugged it in and it almost worked as advertised - the red lights are dim / blurred / smeared for some reason. I'm guessing it has to do with the lens or laser placement in the body of the light. We are trying to find out from the company if that is something that can be corrected or if it needs to go back. Right now, I have not been able to nail down who to talk to (manufacturer is listed as "demeao"). Can't seem to find a customer service number, web site, emai, etc. I noticed someone else asked a question about the blurry red dots on a question posted 2 days ago. Maybe we both got one from a defective batch?

There are many "wrong" reviews (for a book) on here, but this is actually a decent laser light.
I bought this based on the star rating, which turned out to be a mistake. lesson learned, always check the actual reviews. The reviews for this light seemed to be tangled up with reviews for a book, oddly enough, one that I read and liked ok. But, I wasn't buying a book, I was buying a second laser light for the front of my two story house. Last year I shelled out $150 and bought the highest rated laser lights I could find. They were, and are still, great, but since the front of my house is so wide it didn't quite cover, and with cars in the driveway, the lights would get blocked. I wanted a second laser but didn't want to spend another $150. I bought this once and it actually worked quite well. I was worried at first that with the "fake" reviews that it would be a flop, but honestly they worked as well as the more expensive ones, maybe not quite as bright, but still, for the price, perfect. The remote worked well, and they lasted through the whole month of December being used ever night all night long. The only problem is that the stake was a little rusted around the screw when I went to put them away till next year. Hopefully they will still work next year, but I am happy with my purchase.

The laser lights come on, but the remote doesn't ...
The laser lights come on, but the remote doesn't work.1) It states that it's RF remote, but there is an LED light on the front remote which leads me to think it's IR/optical remote signal, so it's not clear if this even the correct remote for the device.2) The remote has to be "paired" with the device to work. Instructions state to hold the power button down and then plug the main unit to power and that the unit will pair with it's remote. It didn't work in our case. Over 1000+ reviews, there is almost no mention of this pairing procedure?3) Large number of positive reviews, but some are referring to a "book" review as if these are mixed with reviews of another product? Bizarre.

Better than your average led laser projector.
One of the better projectors out there. You will pay more for this one and although it doesn't have the bling when it comes to variations of patterns/pictures like the cheaper versions it does a much better job of projecting on the house or your trees . It only projects stars in a moving pattern in two different colors. Thats all I wanted anyway. Mind , I have shining directly at a inflatable snowman which gives it a bling factor. That being said, all the projectors on the market today at these prices are made in China and most likely made in the same factory. Go figure.

LONGER CORD NEEDED!!
I have a few laser lights. They all have exceptionally long cords—for obvious reason to be able to reach ou into your lawn. This one surprised on the very short cord, which made me wonder was it not intended for outside?? The lights were great with the different designs. Many different types to stand, but not easy to transition. 2,4 and then jumps to 8 hours timer (which is noted in its description) leaves a gap when omitting 6 hours. 4 may be short, but 8 goes beyond most times of display and not energy efficient.Overall, for the price and what is, this is a good product compared—to 5 stars if the cord didn’t defeat the challenge to display due to the lack of length—that is very negative oversight.

Simple and bright
These do not have anything too fancy, but are quality made. I purchased 4 of these to create a fire-fly effect in my tall trees for my Christmas yard display. I have a lot of lights in my yard but the tall trees looked neglected before I added these laser projectors. The green shows up much better than the red on the green leaves of course. The red shows up fine on the branches. These lights were easily visible 50 to 75 feet up in the trees at night with a well lighted yard.

poor laser quality
3 stars for the quality of the housing and mounting brackets... but the laser is cheap and dim. I also bought one from Tristar Products Inc. and it is way brighter. I could hardly even see this laser from the road approx 20 ft away and we live where its pretty dark, so light pollution wasn't the issue. The remote is nice, the quality of the hardware is great... the laser not so much...

Lasted 1 Christmas. Can last a year.
Bought this less than a year ago. It worked last Christmas but has failed after being up a few days this year. Good for 1 Christmas only. It is less than a year since I ordered it but there’s no support or warranty through Amazon and no way to contact seller that I can see. I will avoid this seller.
