16.99" 43cm Christmas Embossing Rolling Pin Baking Cookies Biscuit Fondant Cake Dough Reindeer Snowflake Engraved Roller(Deep Print)

This really is a beautiful rolling pin....but I guess I should have looked more at the pictures to understand what I was purchasing. The actual rolling part of the pin is only about the size of a width of a piece of paper maybe slightly less. I measured the rolling pin in total it only measures about 15”, not 16.99”, so I am not sure if this is even the correct rolling pin that I ordered for the larger size. I do believe that they come in two sizes so I guess I will have to check with the seller about that. Have not rolled with it yet but I guess it better be a strip of pastry or cookie dough 8” or less wide to emboss. The embossing portion doesn’t look very deep as far as the imprint so I am really hoping that it will even leave the design on the dough or pastry.

I was expecting to use this rolling pin to make some nice cookies and/or pie shells with a decorative pattern imprinted on them. The rolling pin's design does not leave an imprint at all. The design is not deep enough to leave the imprint. Very disappointing!
