Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection for Women

I was debating on buying the Chocolate Bar or the Full Exposure (I ended up getting this first, then Full Exposure next)... but the Chocolate Bar is now my go-to palette which i choose over all of the naked palettes as well. The colors go on so smoothly, and buttery, and the pigmentation is fantastic. This is my first Too Faced product and it gets me excited to start purchasing more eye products from them. IT SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE The colors: the left side consists of warm browns and bronzes, which i use for my every day looks. I LOVE how this palette has a lot of mattes to choose from, whereas some palettes have too many shimmers and not enough blendable matte browns. The right side of the palette is a little more playful, with pinks, reds and purples. There are two larger pans of color, and I love how one is matte and one is shimmer- both are good for highlighting. I wa sat first dissapointed that there was no black, but that would ruin the look of the palette, and i use this for daytime anyway. The darkest color is a dark-choco color that is use to create a smokey eye. The packaging: THANK YOU, Too Faced, for putting this in a tin container. I don't like when palettes are in cardboard because it makes me less inclined to travel with it and "ruin" or rip/scratch the palette. The chocolate case is so cute and durable! Too bad it doesn't come with a brush because that would be ideal for travelling. PROS:butterly, smooth color pigmented easy to travel with/ tin container you get your moneys worth smells like chocolate comes with a makeup guide CONS: no brush you open the container more than you need to because it smells soooo goood. I have recommended this palette to all of my makeup junky friends and will continue to rave about it.

I'm very happy I chose this palette as my first. It has a variety of pigmented colors, with a good combination of both matte and shimmery shadows. It has a lot of neutral shadows for work-friendly looks, and some extra pinks and purples as well. Not to mention, the entire thing smells like chocolate. I appreciate how true-to-concept they stayed, with the chocolate bar casing, the names of the shadows (such as milk chocolate, haute chocolate, champagne truffle, cherry cordial, etc) and the chocolate smell. It also comes with a little booklet with pictorial diagrams that show you how to make a few looks, but really I think you could combine basically any shadows with any of the others in the palette and have it look good, all the colors seem to go together very well. Overall, a great palette.

When I saw the price of this I wasn't sure I would try it out. I ordered it anyway and I wasn't at all disappointed. Well worth the price. The eye shadows smell like chocolate and the quality is excellent in my opinion. Such a variety of colors and they're all so nice and what I would use. Great buy.

What a gorgeous set of eyeshadows that actually smell like chocolate!! All of the colors work well together, go on super easy and so far today they are lasting really well. The price I paid was pretty high because it was sold out everywhere, but my daughter got it for Christmas and I had to have it too!

Love this palette! Came in perfect condition and smells AMAZING! Very blendable and the colors are super pigmented. Decent amount of each color so palette lasts a while. Great variety of colors from subtle and natural to bold for a variety of looks.

On May 8, 2021, I received a 100% AUTHENTIC Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette from the Amazon store "Local Love". It cost $39.98. I am a fan of Too Faced who was looking to replace this line of palettes, and I was very pleasantly surprised to check all boxes when checking for authenticity. There is the very familiar vanilla-cocoa scent. But people, realize that after years of being in storage, authentic palettes are going to lose some of their scent--if not all. The scent on the palette I received has faded. A palette you receive from Local Love may seem to have no scent at all. The hallmark of a fake palette is a horrible chemical smell to the eyeshadow--which the palette I received does NOT have. BUY, BUY, BUY!

The colors look better in person, like the one that looks army green in the top left, doesn't look greenish in person. I don't like the matte pink or the purple (too dark) but it's decent. It's not too expensive when you consider how many eyeshadows you are getting with this (how much do you have to pay for a good brand of individual eyeshadow?) I thought I would like the Naked 3 pallet better since I like rosy brown hues but I don't, I use this one more, the pots seem larger too, which I like. Granted there are some colors I still haven't touched yet. It's a decent compact and you get alot of shades here. With the one I recieved, the names were printed on the tray in gold lettering, not on a removeable clear sheet like it shows in alot of youtube videos, maybe they improved it. Even If you find a better eyeshadow compact, don't kick youself for getting this, because you will get use out of it. With a couple of these sort of compacts, you have all the eyeshadow you need for a long time.

Is this real or fake?! I don't care it is VERY PIGMENTED!!! I just received this today in the mail. I did a color swatch on ALL the colors ( I'm African American with a caramel color) they should up vibrant on me. Yes it is a bit pricey but i can say it is worth it. When I opened up the palette I can smell a chocolate smell. It was wrapped up very nicely and tight so if it was to get handled roughly I nothing would break it unless something heavy fell on it. NO DAMAGES!!! It was also a note thanking me for purchasing it and to do a review and statin that if any thing was wrong or something to contact them via email and they left their email. It also comes with a small booklet showing you 3 different makeup looks you can do and it also gives you step by step. I highly recommend this product!!!

Ich bin ein großer Fan der Eyeshadow Paletten von Too Faced. Allerdings bekommt man diese leider nicht regulär in Deutschland zu kaufen, daher bin ich ganz froh dass man hier auf Amazon des öfteren die Möglichkeit bekommt sich welche unkompliziert zu bestellen. Der Preis von 61€ den ich für diese Palette bezahlt habe, ist zwar erstmal deutlich teurer als die 49$ die man in den USA bezahlt - allerdings kommen hohe Versandkosten und ggf. Zollgebühren auf einen zu wenn man sie im Ausland bestellt. Da ist man auch ganz schnell bei 60€ oder mehr. Von daher finde ich den Preis absolut in Ordnung! Das Produkt an sich ist das Geld auf jeden Fall wert! Too Faced bietet qualitativ sehr hochwertige Lidschatten. Die Chocolate Bar beinhaltet eine sehr schöne Farbauswahl die in erster Linie für natürliche Looks optimal geeignet sind - also perfekt für den Alltag. Die Lidschatten duften außerdem richtig lecker nach Schokolade / Vanille <3 Und die Palette an sich ist natürlich einfach ein absoluter Blickfang. Ich bin super zufrieden. Da es nicht meine erste Too Faced Palette ist, habe ich auch nichts anderes erwartet :)

This is a beautifully presented and boxed eye shadow palette. The quality of the eye shadows is up to the usual Too Faced standard and there is a lovely range of more subtle and stronger eye shadows, which allows for a great variety of looks. I like natural, no-make up looks for daytime and work and stronger darker eye looks for evenings/going out. The nice mix of matte and shimmery shadows allows for a great versatility without being too loud or sparkly. The matte shadows make for great crease colours and the darker ones are perfect when used as eyeliners. As someone who is over 35 and with hooded eyes, I shy away from overly sparkly eye shadows and can confirm that all of the shades in the palette are usable and suitable for both younger and older ladies. The khaki, purple and aubergine shadows in particular bring is a lovely twist, whilst still being very wearable as simple wash of colour or in a combination with the matte shadows. Personally I love the chocolate smell of the palette, which combined with the lovely packaging, does make me thing of a bar of chocolate every time I reach for it. The packaging is first class and the included leaflet with several make up step-by-step guides is a nice touch. I think this a much more usable palette than the Urban Decay Naked Palettes that will suit many complexions.

Ich habe nicht wenig höherpreisige Paletten und diese musste einfach in meine Sammlung. Sie ist mir jeden Cent wert, dieser schokoladige Duft, die echt gute Pigmentierung selbst bei matten Farben. Man muss sie einfach haben. Super ist auch, das man sie leicht öffnen kann, ich habe viele Paletten bei dennen es schwiriger ist und man manchmal in eine Farbe reinkommt. Außerdem kann man sie wegen der Metallhülle auch gut reinigen, wenn man mal Make Up Reste an den Fingern hat. Diese Palette wird trotz täglichen Gebrauch wohl locker länger als Jahr halten, so ist zumindest die Erfahrung mit höherpreisigen Paletten die eine solche Pigmentierung haben beispielsweise meine Naked 1 und 3 von Urban Decay die ich seit März 2014 täglich benutze haben immer noch keine Mulden. Wobei ich die Qualität von dieser Palette sogar noch besser finde, so schön buttrig, kein Glitzer der runterfällt, eine sehr geringe Menge reicht für ein Augenmakeup aus und sie lassen sich sehr gut verblenden :) So ist zumindest meine Meinung zu dem Produkt. Jeder hat andere Ansprüche.
