Slime 4060-A Classic Rubber Patch Kit 27-Piece

I attempted to use the patch that came with the air mattress and it kind of shriveled up for some reason when the glue hit it. I got this kit and it worked perfectly. The glue still holds after multiple uses of the mattress and of course the patch is far sturdier than the original bed.I'm sure it will work fine on bike tires, but that is not why I bought it

There were warnings all over the place but no instructions on how to use it. Since this wasn't my first time patching a tube it wasn't a problem of me but if you have never used a patch it could be.

it works

The patches were relatively thick square cut pieces of pretty hard rubber. they might be OK for a car tire but on a bike tire pretty useless. the cement was good and the sandpaper was fine, but all the patches were useless for me. The square corners and overall thickness makes them useless.

Have a pair of rubber hunting boots that had two tears in them, prepped the two areas per the instructions and it worked great. saved me from buying a new pair of boots.

I patched a crack that was letting in water and snow where the toe of my Sorel boot bends. I had to modify the shape of the patch with a scissor, but it has held up well and saved me buying a new pair of boots.

Great patches of different sizes that actually stick well to tube. I used other patches I have to peel out to replace because they unpasted.These stay put the first time without problems.

The media could not be loaded. I have never patched a tube before and wanted to be able to repair a tube road side on my motorcycle. I had a flat and using this was able to get it fixed in no time. I watched a video that said not to glob the glue on but to put a number of thin coats over the area (I did 3 coats) then applied the patch. It said to much glue would not cure and bond the rubber. I did take 30 minutes to fully dry before I put air in the tube. This is in my side bags all the time now.
