Works like a charm
I am allergic to adhesives and have to use a glucose monitor. This helps keep my skin from breaking out and it also helps with removing the glucose monitor when it is time. It creates a barrier between your skin and the adhesive and works like a charm!

WORKS GREAT FOR A PERSON WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES
HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING THESE IF YOU ARE PRONE TO SKIN IRRATATION FROM CONSTANTLY CHANGING YOUR PUMP AND DEXCOM SITES. WITH A T1D CHILD SHE CHANGES HER PUMP EVERY 3 DAYS AND HER DEXCOM EVERY 2 WEEKS. THESE MAKE IT EASY TO REMOVE THE OLD WITHOUT CAUSING A RASH. The alcohol BURNS but they do create good adhesion!
After using so-called hypoallergenic paper tape for weeks on very sensitive skin, I was getting skin abrasions whenever I would remove it. I bought some other skin prep wipes through a home health company online, but they didn't create much of a barrier and I was still experiencing skin irritation. Someone recommended these wipes on a support group online and I found that they work much better. The only thing is that they contain alcohol so you have to make sure to avoid any skin that is already irritated or it will BURN! However, the tape sticks much better and I am able to remove it without tearing my skin off.PROS: Tape adheres to skin better, forms protective barrier on sensitive skin, allows for tape removal without creating skin abrasions, easy to use because it's in a wipeCONS: I find that I have to use gloves or keep the wrapper around the wipe because the barrier is very tacky and will stick to fingers, shouldn't use on already abraded skin due to alcohol content, can be difficult to remove barrier (even with soap and water)
